  1. All the character traits of KKS....trawling(trolling) the threads making inane comments about nothing in particular.
  2. You better hope for a good summer! Oh and tell Buster not to put too much water on the track.
  3. Guess you are there tonight Dave? Is Ian there?
  4. Despite his lack of perceived commitment to British speedway and the dread of having KKS on the Swindon thread every day, My choice for the final place would be Michael Jepsen Jensen. He is still very young, has ridden all the EL tracks and is without doubt is a class act.
  5. I am sure he will be given a warm welcome back! Hey Blunsdon blog, when the Stars visit, just make sure there's a touch too much water on the track and we can all laugh at Batchelor throwing his toys out of the pram!
  6. Come on Skidder, they are clear favourites. Solid throughout with a strong reserve pairing. Holder, Andersen and Buz all likely to improve and Watt and Kurtz holding their own and no doubt both producing the odd match winning performance. A couple of teams will be snapping at Poole's heels, but clear favourites for me.
  7. Just to let you Bandits fans know that Dyson24 posted another pearl of wisdom on the Plymouth thread recently. That's two now. First one was a meaningful 'wot' the second and most recent was an intriguing 'mmm'
  8. Yeah? You reckon? What if on the odd occasion it rains or the track isn't to his liking?
  9. Like others on here (most thankfully) I reckon this should mean goodbye to Batchelor. Russell and Rossiter have spoken about building the team with riders who have not only talent, but mental strength as well. Absolutely no doubt that Doyle, Charles, Josh and hopefully Nick have those credentials. Michelsen would be an inspired signing with plenty of room to improve.
  10. Masters and Bech are inspired signings in my opinion. Much does depend on Lindgren regaining his touch, but Wolves will be a right handful this season I reckon.
  11. Karlsson has never really done anything at Blunsdon though coombers. I do recall him fending Leigh Adams off once, with the great Aussie snapping at his rear wheel for all 4 laps. That said, PK oozes class and like Adams, has a lovely 'armchair' style to his riding. He'd be an asset to any EL side.
  12. I think you are being rather pessimistic foreverblue. Holder and Andersen are both class riders and give the Pirates a terrific spearhead. Rest assured, Brady Kurtz will deliver. Sure, he will be inconsistent at times, and he isn't a Darcy Ward, but in my opinion, he will hold his own over the season. Poole have a solid side throughout and at this stage, appreciating teams are not yet complete, they look like the team to beat.
  13. Dyson24 posted on the Somerset thread yesterday......his post consisted of three letters. 'Wot'
  14. For the first time in a number of years, the Devils side is shaping up with plenty of potential at the start of the season. Normally the negative 'supporters' would be rubbing their hands in glee to lambast the promotion on assembling a bottom of the table side etc etc. Holder, Newman and Kurtz give the side a solid spine. Simota has the pedigree and potential to improve on last year. The team is looking competitive with the chance to reach the play offs again.
  15. It was worth going to listen to the club captain make an utter fool of himself.
  16. Would never use the word 'rely' where KK is concerned!!
  17. Guess we won't be eating our burger and chips together prior to the meetings next season then? Glad your on the road to recovery mate.
  18. Wolves looking solid I reckon. Especially at Monmore. I don't see them as title winners, but in with a shout of a play off position. As previously stated by others, much depends on Lindgren. Sadly, he doesn't appear to be the ruthless Freddie of old, but good to see him back in the EL.
  19. At least KK will give you half a season......maybe....
  20. Not sure about that Moose. Swindon have a sold hard core of fans that will turn up rain, wind or shine. Once the fans start to see the new stadium taking shape, enthusiasm will gain momentum. At least the Famous Abbey track will be there to start the 2016 season and help to bed in the new team which will no doubt be led by the inspirational Doyle. Rather than the Troy Batchelor arena, I'd rather the 'Batchelor bogs'. Kind of has a special 'ring' to it, if you get where I'm coming from?
  21. Ones things for certain, Buzz won't be! Starry's probably right though. Ford will have Chris Holder, Brady Kurtz, Jack Holder and Adam Ellis pencilled in for 2017. And more than likely, Kyle Newman.
