  1. Saw him last season at Somerset. He scored a big fat zero.
  2. 65 posts later and you are deciding who the forum troll is? Strange that many posters suspect that it's you with the multiple accounts isn't it? Some posters have been on here long enough to know how KKS words his/her posts. Appearing on numerous threads making silly comments and attempting to wind people up. Please realise how sad you must be to do this. Do you not get the attention you require at home?
  3. He'd be a decent signing for sure. Puts everything into his racing. Would be an excellent captain too.
  4. Maybe so, but Allen, Wilson-Dean, Starke and Zach have bundles of improvement in them. Tungate should hold his own and should Holder arrive in Somerset, apart from being a massive crowd puller, I fancy him to put a point on his average.
  5. 1. Holder 2. Starke 3. Wright 4. Allen 5. Tungate 6. Wilson-Dean 7. Wajtknecht If that fits that would be a competitive side in my opinion. Retaining 6 of the team from last year (amazing in itself) and including 4 Somerset assets. Difficult to beat at the OTA and may sneak a few points away from home.
  6. Did, Shov was a fanatical Robins fan. He went home and away across the country to support Swindon. He travelled on the coach with us and with another guy in a robin reliant!! He was a great laugh and very vocal at away tracks. Bloody predictive text, Sid even!
  7. Starry, it's an excellent business case. True suspense in a pleasant environment. Forward thinking and the supporters enjoy it and realise that this is how the management do it every year.
  8. Was this the "small track" that Josh was allegedly hankering for?
  9. The metamorphis that is KKS returns......
  10. Have to agree with you Shov. Excellent looking side. Once again, love 'Em or hate 'Em, this team will pull the punters in big style. Most posters are liking the Rye team, but for me, the Pirates look really solid.
  11. Steady on there shocks, you will get the old blood pressure rising mate! Seriously, it's good to see some early debate over the side for 2017. Let's not forget however, the team is not completed yet. Time yet for Rosco to come up with a golden nugget. Once gain, Poole looking the team to beat.
  12. He wouldn't have the wisdom or the sincerity to deliver the apology mate. And in any case, he's in decline, goes missing when it matters and when it rains, he just as well not bother.
  13. Reckon you may have two correct DC2. Wilson-Dean for sure, Josh a probable. Masters seems destined for Wolves. Batchelor? No chance. Garry May is shrewd enough to see that he is a rider in decline. Even on his poor average, my guess is he won't be touched with the proverbial barge pole. Heeps's record is very poor at the OTA. Hougaard scored a brilliant 16 points there a few years ago , and would be an interesting shout. Most Danes seem to go well at Somerset. Anticipation is really building for team building for 2017. But I'm confident once again that the Rebels will field a decent side.
  14. Possibly the all conquering Coventry side of 2007?
  15. Has he changed the team he supports again then?
  16. Gated pretty well guesting for Somerset in the play offs. Excellent prospect.
  17. Not his biggest fan but come on, give the bloke a bit more credit for his team building skills! I think over the past 10 years the Robins have featured regularly in the play offs. Similarly when he had his year or so at Coventry of course. Personally, I fear the worse for how the team is shaping up. However, I wouldn't put it past Rosco to pull a shrewd signing out of the bag and make the side another competitive one.
  18. Really? Not sure about that from a Swindon point of view!!
  19. Ever seen Gater 1 at Tottenham matches coombers? He wears purple chino's, lives in Peterborough and goes by the forum names, morriseyfan and formerly KKS. You should know him. He's the irritating guy who talks utter baldacks and is a season ticket holder also at Arsenal. Depending on who wins more often, depends on whether he takes his seat at White Hart Lane.
  20. Isn't he supporting Leicester City this season as well?
  21. Gater1 and Shov are Robins fans really shocks.
  22. I recognise that next season the league has once again been watered down, but some of the Robins's teams that have been 'tabled' so far especially with the inclusion of Doyle, look worryingly weak. Will Ellis improve? Huge dependency on him to kick on. Has Morris reached his peak? A disappointing season for him last year is of concern. Nielsen in the main body of the side? Surely not. Whilst there don't appear to be any confirmed signings just yet, the likes of the young Holder, Kurtz Newman and Andersen, immediately look mighty impressive and far more solid for Poole. Got a feeling Rosco is going to have to find a real golden nugget of a rider from either Denmark or Poland to inspire the Robins next year.
  23. I'm kind of with Orion on this. I wouldn't describe the signing as 'poor', more an interesting one. Certainly I agree this is a crucial season for the lad and he needs to kick on from the platform he built at Poole. The challenge though is whether he can do it at a new track with a management that arguably won't be looking after him as well financially as what he experienced at Poole. Just thinking out loud, Darcy Ward aside, I can't think of too many riders who have improved once they have left Poole.
