  1. I'm not a fan of KK Shov. And I agree with brum about how unreliable KK is and how inconsistent he is. However, his record with Poole is mighty impressive and he is clearly at home there. Box office to watch round Blunsdon too.
  2. Think Buzz is referring to the slightly " I told you it wouldn't happen" type slant from our near neighbour Hagen....
  3. You have nothing to worry about with young Shanes. A fine prospect who will definitely pick up useful points.
  4. I'm not a fan of Ford but he has adapted a winning formula. He's always done it and there's no room for sentiment. He did it with Artur Moczra and Leon Madsen a fair few years back and has done it regularly since. If it meant my team winning the league title most seasons I'd be quite happy for my teams promoter to do the same.
  5. Once again a terrific looking side in my opinion. Definitely the team to beat, although obviously we haven't yet seen all the sssembled teams. Wolves look decent and Rye competitive.
  6. Batchelor getting back to his best? Absolutely no chance of that happening. I would imagine losing your courage in a sport like this has a major effect on things. We all know he has real ability, and his gating skills are certainly still intact. But give him a wet track, or other riders near him, he simply bottles it. He may improve on his awful performances last season, but I'd be amazed if he averages 6 +, which for someone who was in the GP series not so long ago is poor.
  7. Remember only 18 months ago you were stood in your Robins colours on the home straight with your purple chino's on Gater1? Remember how strongly you defended the fact that you were a Swindon fan? I think you should consider how authentic and genuine you are as a person before you start throwing flak in different directions.
  8. Drove into the stadium car park today. It was a grey misty day, and summer evenings at the Abbey seemed a long way off. Two vans, two dumper trucks and two JCB's were present. A small area had been cleared, a pile of rubble and a fence that appeared to have been constructed of logs incased by wire seemed like the only recent work. Two blokes in their late 50's were stood outside a portakabin with hard hats on. One had a fag on his bottom lip, the other gazed at me through the mist. I felt like an intruder as I watched for a minute or two, hoping that I would see some meaningful activity. Alas, no, although maybe it was break time.
  9. The current line of defence is to accuse everyone of having multi accounts. It wasn't so long ago that Morriseyfan (formerly KKS) actually admitted on this forum that he had forum aliases. Like you Fourentee, I have been posting long enough to remember KKS in its original form. He gets banned, then re appears as someone else (Gater1, Burnt face man, Poolebolton ) and such like. The posts are easily recognisable. Like someone said earlier, weird.
  10. Watched BWD all of last season at Somerset. He's terrific to watch. 100% effort in every race and really gets stuck in. Definitely an improver. Bellego is spectacular to watch and will probably score well at Blunsdon, although will be inconsistent I reckon. This is a big season for Morris. If he stalls, then next season will be as bad as when we had Nicholls at number one.
  11. No starry, KKS on the BSF. (Amongst other aliases)
  12. Whilst Wrighty is great entertainment at the OTA, let's face it, he's not going to improve that much more than where he is now. He's a whole hearted trier and gives his utmost in every race he rides, but he doesn't have a scooby where his team mate is in any given race, and in my opinion, has reached pretty much his best now.
  13. Check out last nights posts on the Somerset thread. KKS gets so excited he tries to involve almost all of his aliases. Morriseyfan even pops up at exactly the same time as Monster Daz. Poolebolton gets his dig in as well. Gater1 only misses out because he is banned.
  14. You've had a superb evening KKS haven't you? Popping onto all those different threads, gloating about Poole. For a supposed forum newcomer your posts are pretty provocative aren't they? Surely someone new to the forum doesn't gloat about their team, then start taking the p1ss over a newly assembled team? Occasionally you drop your guard though and people can see straight through you. You could t help mention your real team Peterborough on the Somerset thread though could you?
  15. KKS reckons you have a weak tail brum, I reckon it's a top 3 side.
  16. v Nilsson. No Masters. No Sedgmen. No Jensen. No Apart from that good guess! And Barker, no chance and please believe me......Batchelor absolutely no chance!!!
  17. He also used to turn right on occasions.....normally when he was a mile in front!
  18. Good to see the forum 'newcomer' offering friendly best wishes for the season ahead. Just as any newcomer would of course.....incidentally, the forum newcomer has been on almost every thread doing the same. Just as any newcomer would of course.
  19. Gater1 has been banned, no sign of Morriseyfan and suddenly the forum is awash with brand new posters appearing on numerous threads.....Mmmm now where have I seen that before?
  20. Batchelor's average might fit Najjer, but his attitude and ego wouldn't!
  21. The problem is though Sid, you are in the minority with that thought process. Like every sport, winning pulls the punters through the turnstiles. If this team start losing on a regular basis, especially at home, then the terraces will be empty. For the record, I watched young Zach at Somerset last season and he has plenty of potential and is a decent signing at reserve. In this watered down league the team looks average at best. Especially when you look at the Poole line up and to a lesser extent the Rye House team.
