  1. From what I remember of Paul Muchenes accident he slid off and unfortunately the rider following was a very inexperienced junior named Nick Floyd, who was so shook up the poor lad retired soon after. I remember the following week a rider falling off inches in front of Barry Thomas who miraculously managed to lay his bike down and avoid him, and thinking if only Paul had had a more experienced rider behind he would still be with us.
  2. What a ridiculous statement. Dusty Haigh and Paul Muchene fell and were hit by the following rider which could happen on any track. I don't know what happened with Allan Clegg although I believe it was a Saturday training school accident. I don't hold with all this 'dangerous track' talk. It was a well prepared racers track which favoured the brave and produced great racing week in and week out.
  3. Isn't Bobby Schwartz still riding? Team him up with Greg for a combined age of 102.
  4. Great team man Finn, but never the most exciting!
  5. Totally disagree. We had the best racing in the land on a superbly prepared track every week. It's true the lamp standards were too close to the track which caused the Vic Harding and Denny Pyeatt tragedies but the outside overtaking from Thomas, Morton, Plech, Petersen, Galvin and Loram was breathtaking at times. I don't think the more conservative riders enjoyed Waterden road but the true racers used to love it.
  6. Best London team? Loram Galvin Louis Mogridge Whittaker Thomas Rolls Obvious really!
  7. I remember a great race between Bo Petersen and Chris Morton at Waterden road which resulted in possibly the competitions only dead-heat.
  8. I agree he's had a bad gp season, I'm just talking about tonight. Overtaking Nicki was a decent effort.
  9. I've been rather impressed by Chris Harris tonight. He's certainly been on the pace and hopefully he can take that into next year and be more competitive.
  10. Judging by that last race I think Gregs trying to help Tai out!
  11. I reckon he'll be winning world titles well into his sixties.
  12. MJJ locked up and Freddie had nowhere to go. The ref should be able to put all four back if no ones at fault.
  13. That's Medzienski and Lindgren both wrongly excluded just because it was past the first corner. They really have to change that rule.
  14. What a talent Zmarzlik is. Would be great to see him in the grand prix, but with 3 poles already in not much chance of a pick.
  15. Add London Lions to the one 'L' of a bad track list! Not a patch on the original track.
