Well, unless he qualifies someday. I really don't see what's so wrong with riders having a bit of a go at each other on the slowdown lap. Down the years we've had Nicholls/Dryml, Nicholls/Sayfutdinov, Crump/Holder, Pedersen/practically everyone, etc... It just adds to the entertainment. It's when it spills into the pits and mechanics, managers and hanger ons get involved that needs to be seriously looked at.

Bydgoszcz 2000 was the most nerve-wracking 3 hours of my life. Obviously glad Tai won, but he seems to do it so easily. It's just not the British way! Would love it to go down to the wire next year but there just doesn't seem to be anyone who can seriously test him at the moment.

This is why having wildcard picks every year is rubbish. It would be edge of the seat stuff between Holder and Kildermand for the 8th place, but whoever misses out will get a pick anyway.
