  1. A real shame for Jason, although it's not surprising with those injuries. Hopefully Woffinden, Zmarzlik and Holder have stinkers in Melbourne, so he can at least hold onto silver.
  2. I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you.
  3. Hopefully Lindgren will miss his flight, so we don't have to suffer Bjerre next year.
  4. You're a bitter little person aren't you. Dear oh dear.
  5. A real sickener for Doyley. Probably be deprived of the title he richly deserves now. Shame.
  6. A great meeting and well done Wolves who I'm backing to win. I can't see anyone beating Woffy at the NSS on his Polish rocket ships. Loved it when Peter Adams asked Chris Louis "are you on drugs?" I can't imagine Louis has ever had anything stronger than a Lemsip!
  7. As somebody who couldn't give a shiny sh!te who wins the league, (it lost all credibility when the play-off were introduced IMO, and it's only Poland and the GPs that hold my attention now), I'm finding all this hilarious! I'm more and more wanting Poole to win just to hear the sound of heads exploding all over Britain..
  8. Blimey you must've had quite a few Tyskie's, that's twice you've said this. I'm certainly gonna miss my Sunday 'fix'. Polish speedway, best in the world!
  9. Youthful over-exuberance from Gomolski there! He looked over the white line anyway.
  10. Some said that Torun didn't have enough of a lead against ZG in the semi, but they won through. So with the cool, calm, collectiveness of Hancock leading the way, I'm backing them to win.
  11. I don't know how pally Lindback and Lindgren are, but hopefully they can sort something out between them to spare us all a year of Bjerre in the gp's.
  12. I never had Jason Doyle down as a potential world champion, but hopefully he can finish the job now because he certainly deserves it this year. 3 gp wins in a row is a fantastic achievement. It should also guarantee a bumper crowd in Melbourne, having a home rider lifting the trophy.
  13. 'Angel' Galvin, Roland 'Book'em' Danno, Alan 'Captain Crash' Mogridge. Les Race and Hugh Skidmore are rather apt speedway names.
  14. Top 8 as it stands, with Pedersen, Iversen, Sayfutdinov and G Laguta would be the perfect line-up in my eyes. Probably won't happen.
  15. I still find speedway jolly entertaining. Although I must add, if Nige and Kelv ever walked away, then I would follow..
  16. The riders are too busy congratulating each other to bother about acknowledging the fans. Years ago if 2 riders had a great race they would shake hands and that would be that. Now you get race winners fist bumping and high fiving opponents they hadn't even seen during the race! It's all got too 'chummy' for my liking.
  17. Fair enough I suppose. It looks like Gorzow are certainly going to need him going well tonight.
  18. Torun for me over the 2 legs. Don't think it's right that Gorzow can have a rider of Zmarzlik's calibre at reserve. Imagine if King's Lynn had been able to keep Michael Lee at reserve 1976-80!
