Wildcards 2017.....
Terry replied to Panthers89's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I wouldn't pick Janowski. the best three Poles are already in and there's no need for a fourth. Pedersen, Sayfutdinov, Zagar and Laguta would be the perfect line-up. -
Congratulations to Greg Hancock and Chris Holder on their respective wins. Good to see 'The Bart-man' on the rostrum. Hopefully Doyley will win it next year. Bit of a shame Leigh Adams wasn't interviewed, but a great gp. Roll on next year!
-
Very disappointed in Greg actions, but everyone's overlooking the biggest story... NO BJERRE NEXT YEAR!!!!!
-
Congratulations Greg. And keep it up Freddie.

As big a fan of Greg as I am, it's really a crying shame that we're not going to get the Doyle v Hancock showdown. The championship always seems to be wrapped up by the time we get to Australia. As others have said I've no interest in the battle for 2nd and 3rd place, nobody remembers those places, all I want is Lindgren to finish outside the top 8. As I'm sure most people do. Not happy about the early start, if they ran it at 4am on Sunday then us British viewers could watch it at the usual time. I think that's only fair and proper..

Beware the looming shadow of Bjerre. -
All they found was a copy of Razzle.

A real shame for Jason, although it's not surprising with those injuries. Hopefully Woffinden, Zmarzlik and Holder have stinkers in Melbourne, so he can at least hold onto silver.

Here's hoping!

I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you. -
Hopefully Lindgren will miss his flight, so we don't have to suffer Bjerre next year.

Yes, he rides for Dackarna. 43 years old. -
You're a bitter little person aren't you. Dear oh dear.
-
A real sickener for Doyley. Probably be deprived of the title he richly deserves now. Shame.
-
As somebody who couldn't give a shiny sh!te who wins the league, (it lost all credibility when the play-off were introduced IMO, and it's only Poland and the GPs that hold my attention now), I'm finding all this hilarious! I'm more and more wanting Poole to win just to hear the sound of heads exploding all over Britain..

Blimey you must've had quite a few Tyskie's, that's twice you've said this. I'm certainly gonna miss my Sunday 'fix'. Polish speedway, best in the world! -

Looks like game over, Torun falling apart. -

Youthful over-exuberance from Gomolski there! He looked over the white line anyway. -

Some said that Torun didn't have enough of a lead against ZG in the semi, but they won through. So with the cool, calm, collectiveness of Hancock leading the way, I'm backing them to win. -

I don't know how pally Lindback and Lindgren are, but hopefully they can sort something out between them to spare us all a year of Bjerre in the gp's. -
Stockholm Gp Saturday September 24th
Terry replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I never had Jason Doyle down as a potential world champion, but hopefully he can finish the job now because he certainly deserves it this year. 3 gp wins in a row is a fantastic achievement. It should also guarantee a bumper crowd in Melbourne, having a home rider lifting the trophy.
