  1. Too easy for Rye. Lynn bloody awful! A real shame Bomber's not at Belle Vue tomorrow. A Championship team with nothing to ride for taking priority over a Premiership team going for a play-off place. Madness.
  2. Rye's never been one of the best tracks but tonight's been a good'un with some great racing. Here's to the Rockets getting that 4th place.
  3. Come on you Rockets! Natalie looking nice and summery tonight.
  4. If you watch carefully though, he's actually mouthing Waltzing Matilda.
  5. Not a Woffy fan but fair play, great ride in the final.
  6. Madsen can be one of the fastest riders around when he's in the mood, as you say who beats Zmarzlik by half a lap? Unfortunately he's very unpredictable and just as likely to come last by half a lap! Saying that, I'd still put him or MJJ in ahead of Iversen and Kildemand just for a change if nothing else, as the Danes are all much of a muchness these days. There is always the Nicki option but that would just be a 'pity pick' based on past glories, and the fact he puts bums on seats...Personally I think he's mad to carry on riding, knowing that one more crash could cause permanent damage to his arm.
  7. So you're saying that the current world champion's time has passed.
  8. I'd forgotten that Holder needed a pick in 2014, I thought he'd qualified every year like Greg. He's also finished 8th three times. He's still pretty much nailed on I'd say but I'm not so certain now.
  9. Hancock and Holder are the two most obvious wildcard picks in the history of obviousness ever. Anybody who says otherwise must be clinically insane.
  10. Well it took 15 heats to get a good race! Gorzow should make up for it on Saturday.
  11. Doyle 'toying' with the opposition. They should handicap him 15 metres just to provide some entertainment!
  12. Has a gp ever contained no Danes before? Maybe Jensen, Madsen or Bjerre may be called up to please the Danish fans.
  13. Chances are we'll have more than Denmark next year.
  14. No Dane deserves a wild card imo, but he's got 10 years on Iversen who's basically finished as a title contender. At least Jensen still has time to improve.
  15. Top Dane in the challenge..not such a daft choice after all, was it?
  16. Well done Cookie. It'll be great to have one Brit to cheer on next year...as long as Dudek stays injury free.
  17. Well done Rye, and great to see Cookie back on it.
  18. Great performance from Cookie at Rye House. Nice confidence booster for Saturday.
  19. Just watched the derby meeting, absolutely fantastic. Massive crowd and brilliant racing with every rider giving everything. This is what league speedway is all about. With Pepe Protasiewicz providing most of the thrills by being possibly the worst gater I've ever seen!
  20. Going by Polish form you'd have to say Madsen, scoring as impressive a maximum as you're likely to see against Zielona Gora the other week. But as others have said he's prone to 'going missing' in the big meetings. I'd go with MJJ who is having a decent year and has proved he can win gp's.
  21. I agree, he often got a bit lost for words and tongue-tied, although that could've been down to Natalie and her come-to-bed eyes... or maybe that's just me. I also find Scotty quite drab and boring, Tatum would do a good job in the studio, being a good articulate talker. But of course he's otherwise engaged.
  22. Bartosz sounds like Latka Gravas from Taxi.
  23. Can't see past Lindback off that inside gate. What do I know..Fantastic ride from the Bart-man! Great gp
