Exactly. The decibel level in my house was higher than anything Nige and Kelv could muster!

Much rather listen to Nige and Kelv and their comedy banter, than the guy who does the Swedish stuff.

There were some belters at Bydgoszcz with King Tomasz, but you could be right.

Best gp for years. Well done to the Bart-man.

Well done. I had my first one years ago..

I always imagine his voice breaking while being interviewed and sounding like Barry White!

Too late!

I don't ever want this meeting to end. Absolutely brilliant racing!

Wow Madsen! Who can stop him?

Yep, that and parallel parking.

The best thing about being a bloke is you can eat a banana in public, without feeling embarrassed.

After harmlessly sliding off Paul was terribly unlucky to have an inexperienced junior named Nick Floyd-who I believe retired soon after-following him. He seemed to panic and tried to ride around Paul, but there wasn't room and he hit him. I remember the very next week Barry Thomas instantly laying his bike down when someone fell inches in front of him, and everyone saying if only there had been a more experienced rider following Paul he would have been fine. RIP Paul.

I don't think Cook did too badly in the gp's last year, considering it was his first year. (Remember how much Woofy struggled in his first year.) He understandably struggled in the early rounds but he was fairly competitive later on, doing well at Cardiff and scoring on a par with Pawlicki, who is regarded as an international class rider..plus he was only a run-off away from qualifying again for this year, and I reckon he would be doing better than Lindback, who has been rubbish so far. -

There is no way Peter Adams would be TM. He's been asked countless times down the years and says he's not interested. -
Walnut whip for me..although the shape does remind me of a certain body-part on a cold day. (maybe it's just me!)

Peterborough v Belle Vue - Prem Mon 15th July

The track certainly wasn't dangerous. As is the way of the world these days, people are over-sensitive. A rider picks up a little grip once in one race and people go overboard with the criticism. -
People who prefer smooth over crunchy are mocked and ridiculed in the peanut butter world.

Ipswich v Poole Prem. 11/6/19
Terry replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think Gavan's only connection to speedway is his Uncle chucking a few quid into the Hackney pits at Mark Loram, (I'm sure he's mentioned it once or twice!) I'd say when Mark retired he developed a weird obsession with Poole speedway.
