  1. Not allowed a guest for Doolan, guests for injured riders only allowed for riders in positions 1 , 6 or 7. It's going to be very tough to match Kev's recent home form with RR but have no choice. Does anyone know the riding order yet, I would of assumed Eklof would of been at No4 prior to Kev's injury. Will they move RR to No2 as usual?
  2. A routine win for the Monarchs but think the Lions may just nick a point or 2 if things go well for them. Hope Edbeg is fit for tomorrow but if not does anyone know who could come in for him?
  3. Don't know how true it is about Yulia having an input Into team affairs but you never know, she could be a really good motivator. As for her picking the riders for heat 15, I would argue that Glyn has the final say and most weeks there's not really much of a decision to be made. Maybe only gate positions rather than riders.
  4. Seemed a tidy rider at reserve, looked fairly good on the bike and picked up the odd point in most races (which is all you can ask of a reserve). Not the fasted rider in the world but stayed on the bike and finished races. Was definatly unlucky to loose his place at leicester and would be a good signing for a team.
  5. Really enjoyed tonight's meeting (even though we lost). Still can't work out how Morris passed Nieminen in ht 10 when he was covering the line well. I think that was a masterclass in overtaking by Morris on a track that isn't the easiest to get by people on. The so called 'Magnificent Magnus' made it easy for the Rebels riders to come by him. He seems to put the indicators on and leaves a big space for them. Lasse tried hard but just seemed to struggle with the slick track, put in a lot of effort for just 6 points. I've been very impressed with Alex Edberg since he signed from Berwick. He doesn't give an inch which gains him an extra point or 2 a meeting as well as being entertaining. Anyway, good meeting an well done to Somerset on the win
  6. In my experience at leicester, him and one or two others are in the minority as most people I speak to there are friendly and enjoy the speedway (even though the racing isn't the best). We just try to make the most of it and appreciate the one or two passes per meeting. IMO when you do get a pass at BP it is well earned and good to watch. Joe Screen was a good example of this last week as is an on form Lasse Bjerre
