  1. It's on the Coventry forum but no need to hide it.

  3. I think he should stand down because he doesn't portray an impressive image, irrespective of who is riding for Swindon.
  4. I agree with that but it should be up to them to get their own house in order. Better qualifying rounds might help, I think the idea of letting someone come here, fail and be sent straight home several thousand pounds out of pocket, is unlikely to happen. More could be done to help young British riders develop as well, it's ridiculous when you have a PL team fully stocked with overseas riders (except for the enforced number seven) and NL teams with too many long term career novices blocking the way.
  5. British Speedway isn't run for their benefit, neither should it bend over backwards to suit them. They either fulfil the criteria or they don't come.
  6. http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/other-sport/simon-nielsen-joins-redcar-bears-10560934 Looks like a well below the limit side again, or is BH having a laugh?
  7. He was offered a place a few years ago and turned it down, saying that it would be a backward step. Thought it was 51%
  8. You've written exactly the same thing on other threads in the past, you've had more digs than my gardener. No apology!

  10. I sort of thought that Berge was the reason that Bellego asked to come to Redcar, they are supposed to be close friends.....Could be totally wrong of course.
  11. Would you like the wooden spoon now, or are the fans as deluded as whoever assembled this lot?
  12. 1970 - Malmö, Malmö Stadion (with Bert Harkins) - 4th - 18pts (10) 1971 - Rybnik, Rybnik Municipal Stadium (with George Hunter) - 5th - 16pts (11)
  13. They rode as a team in his day, even in the World Pairs. He did ride for GB.
  14. One of my favourites. Small point= Jim McMillan is Scottish.
