  1. Tai says.......http://www.taiwoffinden.com/land/index.html
  2. From leaked information it would seem that the meeting should have been called off at least a week ago and probably longer. With that in mind, what has happened is unforgivable and it would be understandable if some of those who had tickets (particularly those with hotel reservations and expensive travel arrangements) decided to severely restrict any future visits to the place. A rain-off would be disappointing, this is far worse.
  3. There's also a new one in Manchester, apparently it's for motocross training!
  4. Those parts are usually more expensive than factory parts, more fragile and require more frequent attention.
  5. That's nonsense, you'll still have wheelspin and throttle control.
  6. If you watch the SKY matches they usually tell you which parts of a track have been doctored to provide extra grip, I think these days most riders seem to know how to assess a track from walking round it, so 'secret' patches are probably less likely.
  7. He probably isn't but it isn't in his interests to cut costs and how much do Holder and other top riders spend on engine preparation? Probably more than a lot of middle order riders can earn.
  8. Wouldn't that encourage faster engines that reach the limit quicker, an expensive engine with a rev limiter is still an expensive engine?
  9. Engines were (in many cases) standard engines before someone tinkered with them and added a few fancy parts, so if they can be converted one way, can they not be converted back, and wouldn't the eventual saving easily cover any cost?
  10. 'We' might love it but nobody else does.
  11. Don't they already have that and don't some riders actually use tuners who are local to that particular league?
  12. Exactly. The riders were informed of this at a pre-season meeting and were said to be in favour.
  13. Hand over what? He doesn't own the club.
  14. Well if that isn't a 'political' post I don't know what is.
  15. He doesn't seem to grasp the idea that success on the track (or at least giving supporters some hope) might just equate to higher attendances. The league is supposed to be a competition but a team with one heat leader is never going to compete with some that have three or even four.
  16. But they HAVE just cause! B Havelock.
  17. True. People are basing their agreement assumptions on other countries who were never in the EU. They don't want to lose our business, no matter what. Well the Czechs have already indicated that they would want to leave if we did and some of the Eastern countries don't wish to take immigrants from outside, so that bubble is likely to burst as well. The states in America have more independence than we do.
  18. If we leave the EU it'll collapse, that's why they are begging us to stay. They foolishly rushed to allow lots of former iron curtain countries in and they are contributing nothing, they desperately need our money. It wont make much difference to riders, other than the need for Aussie style visas.
  19. You are obviously perfect. By the way, it's they're, not 'there.'
  20. No need for the clever remarks, If I'm mistaken then fair enough. By the way, I have NEVER ever written a post denouncing promoters.
  21. Glasgow claim that some of the top riders would be in Poland on a Sunday, but aren't the 'top' riders usually seeded to the final anyway, or have the rules been changed?
  22. You neglect to mention that it was five years ago. I remember Peter Prinsloo as well.
  23. Probably those four, you can never dismiss Garrity either.
