  1. Strangely enough, two have cried off today, the excuse?.....Feeling unwell.
  2. Are we talking about the one who weighs less than six stone dripping wet?
  3. I thought most riders were struggling to slow their bikes down, except at Belle Vue.
  4. It doesn't matter whether the riders knew the rules or not, you stand in front of a Judge and say you didn't know the law......It's their job to know.
  5. Belle Vue Aces = 00 1. Matej Zagar 2. Steve Worrall 3. Patrick Hougaard (G) 4. Scott Nicholls 5. Craig Cook 6. Richie Worrall 7. Joe Jacobs Poole Pirates = 00 1. Chris Holder 2. Adam Ellis 3. 6. Exactly, it wasn't particularly entertaining, more grip would have enabled more passes.
  7. The time delay needs to vary from heat to heat, otherwise it would be too predictable.
  8. Anyone caught jumping the start should be locked in a hotel room with Keith Vaz.
  9. Judging by the estimated ages of most spectators (including me), they should play re-runs of 'Have a go' and 'Workers Playtime.'
  10. I know, pity neither of them is a three pointer.
  11. Exactly! I thought it would have been for Philips.
  12. Pipe does a pretty fair Alan Sugar impression after most meetings (you're fired!)
  13. He doesn't seem to have progressed much this year, hopefully it's just a blip.
  14. We can't change the rules but I'd really prefer it if all GP riders were qualifiers. As things stand, there's more chance of it becoming a sponsors circus, much like that ridiculous pairs competition (will the odious Monster Joe become God of Speedway soon)?
  15. I've seen him openly arguing with Kennett more than once.
  16. He has to do what's best for him and gives him the best chance of success and income (bearing in mind that every race could be his last). If we had any other World-class riders they might well be the same, but we haven't (no where near) so as far as I'm concerned, all power to him, good luck to him and many more successes to him. Whether he's loyal or not, he's put two World titles and a World cup silver under the GB banner and hopefully there'll be more to come.
  17. He would never do that! His dad wanted him to ride for GB and he would never go back on that. People are just being silly or demonstrating their insecurity. It won't happen!
  18. They just don't have the spark of the other top teams, especially when you think of their tremendous home advantage of riding on that mini-roundabout of a track. I can't imagine any team gelling greatly with such a disagreeable character as Bridger spouting off.
  19. Well done Ged! It's good to see ambition above mediocrity.
