I would hope he does get a NDL ride, it is after all supposed to be a development league but sadly it seems to be over populated by career third tier riders and veterans.
-
Probably so but Sheffield's decision was much criticised on here and Kemp actually had a decent average.
-
I would say the Thompson boys are better riders than those you've named, every so often naturals come along (the last one was Dan Bewley) and they need to progress quickly, anyway some of those on your list aren't finished yet.

SGB Championship 2020 Confirmed Signings
foamfence replied to TheMessiahOfTheBSF's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Jason Edwards, Eastbourne. -
Lack of opportunity is certainly a factor, as is cost, look at the equipment some of these beginners have, I can remember the day when some internationals turned up with one bike on a rack on the back of the car. It's good that we now have more opportunities for under age riders but a young bloke should be able to afford to race and many can't.
-
That would depend how you read it.
-
Redcar but I'm not a frequent visitor, I'm getting on a bit, not always well and unfit to drive, I started in the 50s and would travel all over to the big meetings or away matches for my local Halifax and Bradford clubs.
-
Doubling up matters to me but I respect your opinion.
-
But fixed race nights are way up it! Doubling up removes much of the sport's credibility, you see a three quarters empty and decaying stadium on TV and Pearson busily telling everyone how many teams each rider will be riding for this week, It's just Mickey Mouse stuff.
-
As there has been no attempt to address the situations of doubling-up and guests, the tinkering with the format will make little difference to the dwindling and ageing band of spectators.
-
Obviously 'green.'
-
I imagine Wallinger would buy himself a place.
-
He might score an odd point more but I doubt he's a better bloke to have around and Tom looks like he might improve a little.
-
Lawlor above Stewart? I'd rather have a blank space at number seven.
-
This has been the case for a few years, there are pre-conference meetings and the actual conference is just for rubber stamping and a few final details...Oh and a nice biscuit selection.
-
I'm not sure, I'd probably make two changes and have a more solid look but from what people are saying a lot of clubs already have ideas of who they want and some already have a full line-up, subject to final confirmation of the averages.
-
I don't know whether he was a one season wonder but the indications are that he is a rider on the up, the other two are riders who are (in my opinion) past their best, irrespective of what the averages say. Glasgow are supposed to be a club of ambition who aren't afraid to invest in quality but then again, I have no more idea who is in their sights than anyone else here.
-
I wouldn't go for any of them, all too hit and miss.

Sounds OK but too many Wildcards. -
Is Jordan Palin ready for Championship speedway?

That has always been the case and will continue to happen, on the other hand, if you keep them protected too long they tend to stop at that level. -
