Oh OK then, put it this way. That looks like a team just making up the numbers, rather than seriously competing and I'm quite confident that certain other sides will be 'seriously competing,' even though they haven't yet publicly released their full line-ups.
I'm not comparing it to any but it's weak, has a long tail and a few hit and miss riders. The right leadership might make a difference (as I've already said).
It isn't a good idea to advise people not to go to meetings, whether they 'moan' or they don't, personally I think the team looks weak rather than 'decent' but you never know, the new set-up may work wonders with what they've got.
There are a few at NL and lower PL levels using them, last year Harris was using one in his grass bike. There are a few Poles and Doyle who have tried them but if you have a very large investment in GM it'll be difficult to make the break.
Speedway is in a different position to football, it wouldn't take much to cause a landslide of club closures. It is in the interest of all to try and make sure that doesn't happen.
This looks an excellent side so far and the riders all know each other and wont be backwards at coming forwards with help and encouragement. Being a Rye fan looks like being a great season, one to be proud of.
Chris has now said that his average is probably going to prevent him getting a Championship place, I reckon he'd take one with a non-Sunday club if offered though.
