  1. Nothing to stop him coming back anyway.
  2. People shouldn't slag him off personally but if he wants to make a difference to the youth setup, I don't see why he can't join in with the existing lot (as some other riders have done) and help that way, they might be more likely to take his ideas on board then, rather than just wanting to replace them with his own regime.
  3. What is the World Games? Why has this thread been posted in the wrong section?
  4. That doesn't prove that Lakeside were the fourth highest attended club, which was the original point under discussion .
  5. The report says that no offence was committed, So it looks like you're right.
  6. He's been let down a couple of times in Poland, even though he's done pretty well in challenge matches and open meetings.
  7. I don't need to, the onus is on proof.
  8. As no attendance figures are released by clubs, I would be dubious of such a claim.
  9. The press gave up on Speedway when several 'leading' riders admitted fixing races.
  10. There are always exceptions. IOW is a bit isolated and we already have a thread running about affordable ways to actually get there. Personally, I wouldn't visit Lakeside if it were free and it wasn't exactly well supported when in the Elite League, not that I wish the club any ill, I just dislike the track.
  11. I thought crowds were supposed to be up this year? The point is that anyone prepared to have a go deserves a bit of help and it might just mean that more of them reach their true potential. It might also provide a shot in the arm for UK Speedway if we have more riders at the top level.
  12. Two of those are on GTRs as well.
  13. If that's a sample of his English, he's definitely an Aussie.
  14. There are even born in Britain riders who aren't available for team GB.
  15. 16. Harris has qualified, I think Lambert might be in the German round next month. King not qualified. Seven from each plus four wildcards in the semis
  17. If that were the case, he would either have to ride as British or forego his place, like Jason Bunyan used to ride as a Kiwi.
  18. Well he's taking lots of extra rides now, including replacing the number six, I doubt it would make any difference.
  19. I think I'd look to replace Hall with a youngster, anyone can ride round at the back and grab a few gift points, whereas someone younger might actually improve, Richard has gone so far downhill now that there's no way back up.
  20. So the 'massive project' seems to be the impending arrival of a new sprog! Well congratulations on that.
  21. You can't have more than two from the same side and I doubt there are more than a handful available, plus of course they like fat brown envelopes.
  22. That doesn't mean that he should be in charge of our youth development program, or that he'd be particularly good at it. If he want's to do it he should volunteer to assist the current set-up, as other riders have done.
  23. What has Speedway to do with culture?
