Witches look very vulnerable at reserve, I would reckon a Bears win, with Witches nicking a point.

Swindon should be deducted points.

And what about the state of the rest of the place, the new stadium and whether they'll run next year? -

It wasn't just the water, when Tatum looked at the track it was very poor. It made a nice change to see riders openly critical of the preparation, not much said from Rosco though, maybe he's been reading the writing on the wall? -
In the days when you could do pretty much anything bar break the tapes, it seemed to me that there were less first bend incidents. The current obsession of having everyone leaving the start-line side by side, might be OK on some big tracks but most tracks in this country are too short and narrow. If we had the under starters order light on quicker, it might cut out some of the delaying tactics, such as gardening and pretending to adjust your clutch pull.

The main failure was the referee. -
And lose money at every meeting you hold.

He's been a waste of time, pity they let Greaves go, young man keen to impress and a likely improver.
-
The fact is though, that he qualified. I would prefer all of them to do that, rather than Sweden be guaranteed one and usually two riders and look at Poland, they have the worst record of individual world champions among countries with GP riders but it would be unthinkable to not have any in. The whole thing is just a business, I would prefer it if it was a sport.

I made no mention of not supporting a team, I simply pointed out that your rose coloured view of the changes might be over-optimistic. My own alternative option would have been to not make the changes but I understand the reason behind them.

Then on the other hand..... Wallinger is a business man who rides for fun and usually gets a maximum of noughts, Garcia never seems to last long anywhere and Riss has had such a poor season that Edinburgh had no option but to drop him.
-
Not sure I would have bothered, to be honest.
-
And this year he hasn't been very good, even in the NL. He seems to lack the necessary hard edge.
-
Would you seriously want him?
-
I doubt he'd come, what with his past history with Redcar and the fact that he's now probably used to getting more money than they can offer, his form has been very patchy so he'd fit right in, in that respect.

It all makes you wonder what some of the current fat-cat riders would make of things if we were to reduce to one league? -
Good lad, just needs an extended chance.
-
"Ritchie"? No wonder he's left!

Belle Vue are in a precarious position due to delusions of grandeur and an extremely gullible council.

All those things sound familiar and I remember Bradford used to bring a class load of kids by bus to home meetings. After the first four laps one turned to me and said "is that it"? After about three races they would just be rambling around the stadium looking for something to do. It needs the product itself to tempt people but most clubs are beaten before they start, with teams made up of foreigners and guests and terrible tracks. -

Too much ganging up. -
If Redcar don't win that, they should sack the lot.
-
"taping up" Haha.
