The team as I see it , Smart - cannot and never will justify his high average , not good enough as a number 1 Chessell - can gate , that's about it tbh Reade - not the same rider as last year , will struggle to match his average Priest - will always respect him after what he's been through , shown flashes of potential , just not consistent Hughes - seems finances will halt his season when he was a rare bright spark amongst mediocrity Payne - Shinning light , real potential Tedham - some decent performances , but is he really capable of joining the main body of the team We can't compete away from Loomer road , and look vulnerable at home . Even if Tattum was willing to sell , who would throw their money into such a dire set up ?

Worst Stoke team I've ever seen , truly aweful and a disgrace to the club. Even if Tattum was willing to sell , who in their right mind would buy the club ? I swear some of the riders were riding bloody lawnmowers tonight . I looked up the meaning of the word embarrassing after getting back - it said Stoke Potters I'm afraid -
Stoke are a joke , 12 heats gone , not one heat winner yet ! Time to make Big changes Tattum , it's embarrassing , no rider imho can hold their head up and say they've done their job ! Rant over !

Wrong , 6 points . Lam Carr proved to be an inspired signing for Buxton ,well done to him . Surprised Luke Priests showing was so poor considering he knows he track so well . Stoke really do need to look at their number 2 position , it really is their Achilles heal at the moment

Buxton to win by 5 , should be an excellent meeting

Will the track be another reason why Stoke beat the IOW tonight ? It's the same for both sides FCS ! -
Coventry Storm V Stoke Potters .. Friday May 31st 8pm

These are very sad days to be a Stoke fan , the home attendances say it all I'm afraid. I like many others would like a competitive team that can compete home and away without excuses . I live in hope , but have very litte expectation ! -

Now that's a shock ! Can't say I'm surprised , a poor decision to trust him after he had initially quite

61 - 32 home win , now that is a surprise ! Long hard season for Stoke I'm afraid
-
Easy home win tbh

Also noticed that the programme stated a 7.30 start instead of 7 !

45 all after Stoke lead by 13 points with 5 heats to go . Charles Wright was awesome and Atkin not surprisingly looked the business on his return to Loomer Road. Stoke hit and miss with Smart falling away as the meeting progressed , Reade looking of the pace by his standards. On the positive side Priest , Tedham and Hughes showed positives , but Jones was miles off the pace. Well done to Buxton on their fight back

Buxton as a team were excellent and easily deserved to win ( with only the tactical giving Stoke a chance ). The venue is situated in a beautiful part of the world , but the track itself leaves a lot to be desired at any level , and I won't apologise for being used to a flat track. Moaning Stoke fans or not , I'm sure you are grateful for their attendance and cash in the process . Hope to see plenty of Hitmen fans this weekend admiring the excellent views of Chesterton lol

Sorry to say , but Buxton is a depressing venue with a track that has more banking than the Nuremburg circuit and a PA system to match. Fair dues to all the riders expect Tedham who can only be described as way out of his league ( or did he win his reserve slot in a competition ) ! Stoke look weak at reserve , although Jones seems to have something to work on and could be a shrewd signing for the future. I hope Kyle Hughes finds his feet soon , as we cannot afford a weak number 5 in this league. Looking forward to the return meeting

If that's the case , the club should not be allowed to take gate receipts until this situation is resolved. Vasey , get in sorted plz

The rye house home fixture last season must have been no more than 100 . Even with the visit of the mighty Dudley there were no where near 1000 last season .

R bless his cotton socks !
-
Good luck Emerson for the forthcoming season ! Re bridges mate , u may have to build a few with your obvious arrogance to the fans !
-
Firstly he's named in the 7 ( must have been happy at that point ), then he changes his mind . To me that's messing the club around I'm afraid
-
My god that boy had better deliver after messing Stoke about in such a way !
