  1. Hope it stays dry , quite looking forward to seeing some action ! Looking forward to seeing whether any of the stadium has had a lick of paint or not !
  2. I read this thread with mixed thoughts given that I have little or no time for the Tattums. Firstly , Mrs Tattum is more often or not the first face you see arriving at Loomer road to take your money of you. There has never in my time been a conversation to ask either how you are , a smile or enjoy the meeting . She is a very sullen individual who makes no effort what so ever to engage with the customer base , ie the the few remaining fans , especially in the bar area , to the point she makes you feel you should be grateful she has served you at the bar . Loomer road itself is very unkempt , dirty , outdated to the point I feel like I'm in the eighties when at the venue. Despite all this I go to see competitive and exciting racing , with riders who give their all for the team. Do we have a team who will do this ? Well competitive I mean given the weekly debacle of continual home defeats last season. Time will tell , but there's always that feeling with those that still go home meetings that under the Tattums the fans won't return , anymore than PL speedway will. I have no issues with Malcolm , but as team manager , he must do a lot better this season or do the honourable thing !
  3. This Stoke team have had more changes this season than a chameleon !
  4. What's a big crowd for Kent ? Anything above 200 at Stoke is considered big
  5. Another fine performance from the Potters , with 2 heat wins to boot , who would have thought that possible , eh last week ? The worst team in the clubs history , without doubt ! Every year Stoke fans live in hope that maybe we can finally dominate at Loomer road and win the odd away fixture , irrispective of the league. Well now it's a case of whether we can avoid humiliation week in , week out. If Kent fans thought they had it bad , think again !
  6. Well done Kent , that's the start of the rest of the season !
  7. Starting to get vey dark here ! Could be in doubt
  8. Charles Wright , any of the Lamberts , Boxall , we can all dream I suppose !
  9. Lee Smart and co , hold your heads in shame , you are all an embarrasement to Stoke Speedway the fans who have had a gut full and do the decent thing , don't take your pay !!!!!!!! To those who feel sorry for certain riders and what happened in the past , please have those riders in your team , watch what I've watched tonight and NOT feel the same as me . Well done to Charles Wright again , when were u last beaten at Loomer Road ?? I can confirm that Kent are guaranteed at least one win this season , guess v who ?
  10. Surely it's only a matter of time until the PL comes calling ?????
  11. Stoke very lucky tonight , time to get rid of Smart or drop him down the team . Again he fails to beat the visitors number one on his home track , very poor !
  12. Reade will be RR , Smart has no form other than poor , Hughes has bike issues I think this will be close !
  13. Sorry at Stoke tomorrow night mate !
  14. Kent Kings to Win First Meeting? Have to say this looks a distinct possibility tbh , with Boxall to net a maximum ! Mod Note: Can you remember that meeting threads should have the name of the teams and date as the heading. Thanks (heading altered)
  15. Don't think many want to waste their time or money on watching Stoke at the moment ! Good luck to those who brave it tonight .
  16. That's the million dollar question ! Liam Carr will always spring to mind after last years performances at Loomer road. Unfortunately , Nichols , Harris , Tai and co are outside the budget at the moment so options because the time of the season are severely limited.
