I thought it would be, all the riders will be at the GP practice watching and they wouldn't be able to get across the city in time for scrutineering in time. Some riders are watching and some have official jobs at the GP for the weekend It would have been a better plan to have held the meeting on the Sunday after the GP. Next year we will be able to plan it better, now we know how it all works

There is supposedly a meeting at Waikaraka Park according to their website 30 March, but as yet I haven't heard of any local riders going, I will find out more this weekend as there's a Rosebank meeting this weekend. Rosebank has a club practice night on the Wednesday 28 from 4pm - till dark, if anyone is arriving early

There's been a delay in sending the crates, at the last minute Tomas Gollob asked to have one of his bike out of the crate. He then changed his timing and put the bike back in. Then as they were closing it up he decided to take the other bike out and replaced it with another.

Last season as we don't usually get it live we bought it from speedwaygp.com and watch it live on internet about 4pounds i think.

I was on the pit gate in front of the start and could only see the riders not there bikes at gate 4 my view was partially blocked by Marshalls , I saw Ryan Moss move and touch tapes, but everyone (officials) straight away pointed towards Grant. I think the confusion if there was any was that Ryan thought he was out and moved to the grass. It was a very good meeting. Well run and no controversial decisions or antics. And I think i'm right in saying all Jason's races in each round were a good couple of seconds faster than the others.

I've known a lot of world finalists and none of them race speedway to race for their country, they race for themselves and will do almost anything to get there. Once they are there then their country might come into it
