I can only speak from a personal point of view. We have the van ( without the name in the side ) and take up as many foreign rides as possible. All these rides cost money to do and they're valuable experience, but when you rock up and see the equipment / backing that some if the foreign boys have it's heartbreaking. We do what we can with what we've got but you automatically are on the back foot from the off. I always say to people instead of criticizing, go up and offer a tenner to a rider. That's a third of a way to a tyre and every little helps. There's no major effort to attract a major big name sponsor to British speedway and until that happens we'll always he one step behind foreign riders.

That costs money and there isn't any to help the young Brits

Who would you suggest then ?

What about 3rd impact syndrome, he was taken out in the second re run of the final too ?

Thank god the medic concerned wasn't at the U21 finals. With all of those re-starts the winner would be the only rider who hadn't fallen off. Adam himself was taken out in the first heat, I suppose the medic would have again stopped him from riding / earning his wages.

Wow. Good job Adam was unfit to ride otherwise he'd have been really crap at the U21 final.

I like it. Should bear fruit in the years to come. Finally someone has done something for British riders, you'll still find people who aren't happy but it's only been 4 weeks

Adam was ok to continue. It wasn't a question of just holding in for the point. He was there to race, it's his job. It's how he earns his living.

Adams shoulder was aching. No one said it had "popped out" and the fact that he did the practice start and corner as requested by the referee without difficulty showed that he was able to control the bike

But Adam wanted to ride. He was capable of riding. He just wasn't allowed to.

How do you know he wasn't fit to ride ?
