Because last year he was picked by lakeside in the draft which ruled out 4 of the PL offers he'd had. He did have others at various points throughout the season but he'd given his word to Birmingham and didn't want to drop them in the poo. This has been mentioned by Graham Drury and Tony Mole. This year he wanted to concentrate at the start of the year on getting his set ups right in the EL and ride open meetings in Europe, (he'd already turned down other NL offers) why did he choose to help Eastbourne out ? why don't you ask him, he doesn't bite. I'll be seeing him this week when I come over and will probably do the same.

why does everyone keep going on about £££££££'s, he wasn't offered or asked for any more than last year, ( which was equal to other NL No1's) you are naive !

Lakeside V Poole Ela. 8/04/16

If only there was a way for those of us who live abroad to pay a subscription and see selected heats / whole meetings. Just think of the interest / money it could bring in, maybe even attracting other sponsors to the sport ? -
Sorry to piss on anyone's fireworks, as it's already started on the " Ellis is only in it for the money ". Adam hasn't asked for or been offered any more than last year. ( not that it will stop the online speculation )

Lakeside V Leicester 1st April
Jonny the spud replied to Hornsey's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
i put it down to another years experience, getting better year on year and being happy in his set up / situation. But that's just my opinion, you'd have to ask him. ( I wasn't there last night, hoping to be in uk for the U21 final) -

Adam has bought another Engine from Doyle but so far has only tried it out in pre season training once at Somerset. He's still got last years engines which are looked after by Dave Broome. -

watching heat 12 last week on here was the only chance i've had to see Adam ride in Poole colours until I can get over to the UK. shame that'll be denied now -
Neither did Adam until the day it was announced, two teams were possible.

Youth Weekend In Macron Lol
Jonny the spud replied to secsy1's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Well let's hope they learned to spell the name of the place properly, unlike you. What did you think of Macon ? Did you learn set ups that can be applied to UK tracks ? Did whoever you went with gain anything technical or about being part of a team GB setup ? Or did you just come on here to snipe ? -
Have to admit it is a bit quiet, looking forward to coming over for a few meetings this year.

Or maybe that's what Dak told him ? ( before everyone jumps on MF)
-
it seems that way, but thanks to those who've said kind words about Adam.

Hi, new to the Poole threads, been posting on here for a few years on other teams threads. Can anyone tell me when we start talking about speedway ?
-
neither did Adam until the day it was announced
-
of course you did
-
It wasn't decided till lunchtime today, no BS required. (although that won't stop it on here )
-
He's coming home in ten days. I'll just ask him then.
-
Really. I'd better ring him and tell him. You seem to know more than me ( and him for that matter )

The Beginning Of The End Of The Nl
Jonny the spud replied to Argos's topic in National League Speedway
When Adam rode for the Isle of Wight, he was never flown in, I drove him twice and after that he moved in with Matt Read who has helped him ever since. I think maybe later in the year he had one flight and I paid for that so that he could see his Family as being 16 and a long way from home he was feeling homesick. There seems to be a lot of posting recently about him being sponsored with vans by clubs and one even suggested he took the easy route this year in the NL to get a minimum of £600 a meeting. All complete bollocks i'm afraid . Adam left school early and committed himself to chasing his dream, shame some posters feel the need to spout misinformed crap.- 21 replies
