Adam for team GB... Individual U21's, missed out of qualifying by 1 point, European pairs, got team GB into the final with a 6 ride 18 point maximum U21 SWC, equal top scored with Lambert (12 points) to help team GB reach it's first final in 10 years 2nd in the british U21 final. Yes his season in the UK hasn't been brilliant but what more would he have do do to be picked? If Lambert is out of this weekend would you still think one of your suggestions would be a better bet ? -
Adam fastest time of the night too.

Robins Vs Rye House
Jonny the spud replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Diving in football, dodgy betting on horse racing, doping in cycling, team orders in F1, cricket matches thrown in far eastern betting scams, "bloodgate" in rugby ......... i'm sure most journalists steer clear of speedway is because it's run by incompetents who think its still 1956 and act accordingly. -
Adam scored 4+1 in a tough meeting in Poland yesterday and 13 in a German league meeting this afternoon.

I remember driving 1200 kms to the UK 5 years ago to do a round of the British youth championship, we'd try to fit in a couple of second half meetings while in the uk. It wasn't unusual to drive to the meeting, set up, wait for the main event to happen then get told there wasn't time to run ours as the main event had overrun. Frustrating wasn't the word for it !

He's almost Trump like in his paranoia.

My son missed qualifying for the U21's (individual) by 1 point a few weeks ago. He was leading his first heat and Lambert sneaked up the inside to push him to 2nd, he was at Belle Vue the previous night and is lucky enough to have two bikes and a van on the continent. He said afterwards if he'd have done practice he'd have known the track/racing lines better. At the European pairs he did the full practice and scored a 6 ride maximum. It doesn't always work like that but it certainly helps. To think that sometimes people moan that the young Brits aren't getting enough experience of big meetings abroad yet moan when they have the opportunity , it's a no win situation.

18 point full max, the track was as slick as a slick thing
-
yes, only finished putting it in a few hours before the meeting
-
Initial thought were good . It's a bit early to say really as he didn't have time to test any set ups etc before using it on Friday, it'll take a few meetings to get into the groove with it.
-
Yes. He got it on Friday. Bikes in Poland are set up for large polish tracks, uk setup is different.

8+1 from 4 rides

feel free to jump on and show him how it's done

Crazy robin, you've been slagging him off since he was signed, let alone before his injury. I take it you'll go and tell him that to his face in the pits afterwards? -
As ready as you can be i suppose with a broken scaphoid

James has lots of grasstrack lined up I believe, this will help keep him sharp but will also rattle Matt Ford's nerves a little. -
The riders have no say about the rules, It's like the uproar directed towards the Poles over trying to protect their product (BSPA take note), If the British set up was well organised, run for the benefit of the sport, properly promoted and stop bloody tinkering with the averages / points limits ( obviously a personal hate of mine this year), maybe the sport would be taken more seriously by the media. Crowds would return and the extra money coming into the sport would benefit all. I can't comment on Tai as he's blocked me on twitter for pointing out his "training schools" never appeared after he called out Rosco for being a liar on twitter. (almost Trump levels of paranoia going on there)
