I am told that the Memorabilia Fair is again being held in the Cardiff Athletic Club (adjacent to the stadium) , the bar in the Club will be open for those who have a desire for refreshment.

Let me re-phase my question. How many years do BSI have left on the Cardiff contract.

The Cardiff Athletic Club is the place the fayre has been held for the last few years, so it has not moved location.

I have been asked to point out that the downstairs bar at the Cardiff Athletic Club on saturday will be restricted to members only and not available to the public. A bar at the back of the adjacent hospitality boxes will be available for those seeking refreshment

Will there be a collectors fayre at the British GP as I have heard there is a rugby match at the Cardiff club ground which could make the venue not available.

For those interested the bar in the Club will be open for the sale of refreshments from 11.00

Totally agree Bill, with all the other sporting attractions on tomorrow it will not a good meeting to judge support and as for promotion it does appear to be almost non-existent.

Last season finished with 10 teams, with Bournemouth and Weymouth not running that leaves 8, Stoke in makes 9. Which of the 8 are not running I would assume it is Plymouth now they are Premier League, can anyone confirm.

The rules are there to be broken or ignored (take your pick) as per the National Trophy which is clearly stated as being a 2 legged final between the top 2 teams but was awarded to Buxton It is obvious that the co-ordinator makes rules changes at a whim but forgets to copy the fag packet they are written on so he can pass to all concerned.

Ithink the EU may have something to say about their citizens not being allowed to compete.

It doesn't really matter who is the best team or what the rules are, if someone wants things his way then the BSPA will go that way, now who ever topped the league on the 3rd week of say May then why can't they be champions I am sure the BSPA will agree. The sooner the running of speedway is taking away from the self interests of the BSPA the better.

It will not matter what the start time is, the weather forecast is grim for sunday so I don't think the meeting will be on.

With home advantage they may as well put Buxtons name on the trophy

It will probably be decided by a match race between the team managers drinking a pint of beer whilst riding a unicycle over a distance of 50m

Sorry to pour cold water on the Buxton celebrations but regulation 16.4.1 of the 2010 Speedway Reegulations states that the National Trophy is a Home and Away competition with the top 2 teams meeting on a Home and Away basis in the final. Therefore if Newport beat Weymouth in the NT, Bournemouth in the play-off and Kings Lynn in the KOC together with Buxton beating Dudley in the Play-off and KOC, then there is the prospect that Buxton and Newport will meet a further 6 times this season
