  1. I see Max has been racing well for Edinburgh since he signed as his average goes up 1.23 from 1st August. How many matches for the Monarchs has he raced this season to see that much of an increase.
  2. Tai rode in both meetings in Sweden last week I think?
  3. Don't think Nick has much to do with the Swindon track prep.
  4. Seems that Berwick are the only team who cannot resign a rider from the previous years team more than a month into the season. Max doesn't appear on the Premiership averages on 12 July so does he have a Premiership average? Lakeside couldn't use the Premiership average at the start of the season and since he has raced 0 Premiership meetings for Rye House what has changed?
  5. So another rider returns who rode for the team last season and we are more than a month into the season. Seems to be OK to come back on a lower average than you leave also.
  6. I think there should be deadlines for KOC matches like your local golf tournaments (1st round by mid May, QF by end July, SF by middle Sept and final by mid October. Not to hard to do considering Ipswich last season had to wait about for 2 or 3 months waiting for others to catch up.
  7. Didn't Craig get a paid max earlier in the season? Don't usually check their results but I think he was racing for them before the current break (beginning of July).
  8. Shame the fixture wasn't on the fixture list earlier as you have lost the Berwick bus as it's going to Swindon instead. Was supposed to be Sheffield, Somerset and Cardiff.
  9. Lucky you are not going to Edinburgh or flash-the-cash Tigers as your loan would then take 8 years to pay back. lollol
  10. I think Kev provides the most entertainment in the team and has been the most consistent so would have to disagree.
  11. Seen Heppy and Ian drive past when I was down for the Hibs football game. Track wasn't wet so suspect they were working on the track and not just washing the fence.
  12. Go for it. what's the factor between the leagues (1.3)? 9*1.3 = 11.7 Need to drop someone else for that average
  13. It gives 2 British riders a team place and it seems that Richie could get a team place elsewhere. I don't see the problem with Glasgow signing Craig as lets face it in the last month or so Newcastle received a 29 day facility for a rider who is taking time out the sport (instead of a 28 day facility), Peterborough signed a rider who was declared in their team last year (more than a month into the season), we have a probationary ref at the Championship 4's and we have 3 teams who cannot race when the original fixture was scheduled. And that's only in about a month (not including Scott N etc).
  14. Just reading the website and it's on about us getting outgated. Need to take some pointers from Nicolai on that one. Mind I think when he was warned for jumping the start it was just as bad in the re-run which was let go. How many meetings do probation referees need to do to qualify?
  15. Just watching the GP. Think this is the first GP since round 6 in 2016 that Tai has had 2 gate 4's in the qualifiers. Not bad considering you have a 25% chance in every GP (pretty bored with the meeting so far).
  16. I think Plymouth was/is the same with different start and finish lines. So the ref is in line with the start at the beginning of the race and the finishing line at the end of the race does he walk to the other side of the referees box during the race?
  17. Was looking good when we were 4 down after heat 8. Not so good after losing the last 7 heats 31-11.
  18. Did Berwick not use Luke Ruddock last year as a NL guest?
  19. Just been reading about Ty in the speedway star and was thinking about him making David Howe take drastic action to avoid going through the fence and having Theo Pijper bouncing of home straight fence a couple of times. I was wondering if on these occasions he was thinking about the unwritten rule between riders?
  20. Looks interesting on the rolling averages on the B.S. site. Has Kev 0.07 above Spud. There is also only 0.25 between 4 riders with Jye the bottom one on 5.72. If they stay the same Kev will be at number 1 and Jye will be back to reserve.
  21. Think Berwick have been stopped at least a couple of times. 1st time I think was Moggo or Banger (or both). Think also David Meldrum and another that I have forgotten.
  22. That's probably the fairest way as removing the bottom team scores from the points and having fewer teams in your group will favour that team. Peterborough 46.25 - Others 43.75 Sheffield. 48.167 - Others 41.667 Glasgow 45.333 - Others 44.333 Sheffield have a points difference per match off 6.5 points so they should go through.
  23. Think McIlkenny was 2nd in heat 1 then had 2 lasts. In his 2nd heat was trying different lines to pass Blair but couldn't. In his 3rd heat he was again pushing Blair for a couple of laps before slowing down a bit (not sure of the reason).
  24. If you said to Berwick fans at the start of the season their results in the league up to the end of June were as follows most would probably take them. Berwick 4. Newcastle 3 Berwick 3. Redcar 3 Berwick 3. Sheffield 3 Berwick 3. Lakeside 3 Berwick 3. Ipswich 0
  25. Don't know about events over 2 days but Tottenham finished above Real Madrid in the group stage of the Champions League and Real went on to win the competition while Tottenham only got to the last 16. Al least we got a silver medal for our efforts which is more than Spurs got. Portugal sneaked through with 3 draws at Euro 2016 but still won the competition. Happens in loads of sports until tennis format is applied or you get rid of finals/best runner up etc.
