  1. Even KP manages one good innings per test series these days. Greg is a great rider, but it is rare to see Greg racing. Schumacher was the same, did it where it mattered to take most races from the front, but his racing ability was rarely tested, but when it was, not the best.
  2. They are more or less right. Lets not forget Pearson calls the race on the back straight 'If it stays like this it will be a 5-1' blah, blah.
  3. I love how you play the 'self appointed moderator' card when it suits you. The post you refer to is actually 100% spot on in my eyes.
  4. You may love him, but I would want a manager that gets the tactics right. So, are we saying Poole success is down to Matt's chequebook rather than Middlo's tactical nous?
  5. Are you a troll or just totally clueless?
  6. Cal is on the BBC motorcycling coverage weekly, more people will know who he is than Tai... .rightly or wrongly.
  7. I am not sure speedway is big enough to even get into the list of dozen nominees, but what we should do is put pressure on the BBC to include Tai in the nights programme when they look at 'other sports' with British success, a role the BSPA should be already working towards now if they are proactive, i.e. sending the BBC SPOTY team a marketing pack of speedway and Tai... assuming Tai is even in the UK at the time.
  8. Have to be realistic, I don't think speedway is big enough to get Tai listed, but I hope they very least give it some coverage and have Tai in the audience for coverage during the programme. I did BBC Breakfast a few weeks ago myself and got to sit right next to the lovely Susanna,, it was so hard to focus on her words when my eyes were focussing on those legs.. wow.
  9. Seriously? That is rather pathetic and really childish to try and excuse such pathetic behaviour. It's funny though, I followed my team home and away for many. many years, and not once did I, nor the fans I travelled with do it, nor experience such vociferous cheering by home fans on my travels as we heard at Poole. Riders risk their lives, and the least us fans could do is try and keep our big fat mouths shut for a moment when they fall, to ensure they get up. FFS, are you for real?
  10. The man is deluded if that is what he truly believes, as are those sycophants who lap it up and accept such words.
  11. I don't hate Poole Speedway Club, but I do despise every single moron that cheered each of the last two weeks when a rider fell, and I do have a sour taste for the way Poole Speedway go about their business of winning, I.e. Lakeside call-off.
  12. We can if it is in the public domain, (i.e. in this case the BBC article).
  13. I think last night is why I despise the play-off's. One bad luck night can decide the League Title, rather than the previous several months of hard work. A league title should not be decided on one bad night.
  14. Really? Rarely happens anywhere else. So by your stupid comment you are saying it is ok to cheer when another rider falls, but what happens if that rider stays down injured, serious life threatening injuries? Would it still have been ok to cheer at the point the rider crashed? No, it bloody well is NEVER EVER right to cheer when a rider falls. Ever!
  15. Pearson does seem to have a hard-on for Hancock, Holder and Ward the way he goes on and on about them all the time. He must have been like a little boy lost when Holder and Ward struggled at the start of the season. It's funny how naff tracks are the first thing Shovlar brings up on other Sky meetings. What was bloody awful last night was the disgrace that are Poole fans cheering when opposition riders fell, we saw it last week and we saw it last night. Unsporting, disrespectful and classless.
  16. Every play-off year we hear Poole fans cheering when a rider falls, they really are an obnoxious set of fans. Down to the fair minded Poole fans to come on here now and slam the behaviour of their fellow fans.
  17. Dodgy Poole fans (majority) cheering again when a rider falls. Go on, some arse come on here and tell me he put it down on purpose which is why Poole fans cheered.
  18. Holes and Bumps would make it like a home track for the Poole riders though.
  19. But if the league title went down to the last match of the season you would get big crowds for that too. Otherwise, if we are going to go down these stupid rules, we might as well make the SGP all about racing throughout the season, then the top four can have a one-off race-off to decide the World Champion at the end of the season.
  20. Not at all, I have said most October's that a play-off to decide the league champions is wrong. It makes no sense at all, and makes the league season somewhat pointless if the best team over the season are not crowned champions. If my thread happens to wind up Shovlar and co, then that is merely a bonus.
  21. Agreed, how many times on Sky do we see the riders bouncing up and down on that awful track. It may be a great stadium, but the track does not seem the best from what I can tell.
  22. Got to agree with you there, he is bit of a Lindback type rider, 'smooth an stylish' when gating and at the front, but very average when it comes to actual 'racing'.
  23. As the Brummies site changed today? Homepage seems very different to me (IE10).
  24. They could, but I would be back soon enough. I repeat, how have you remained ban free all these years with your constant 'stirring' and 'reaction provoking posting style'. Lets not forget you once PMd me to brag about the fact you simply post to get a reaction, so I repeat, how have you remained ban free on this forum? But, non-the-less, I wish Birmingham well tomorrow and whatever happens, over the course of the League Season, they have been the best team.. FACT.
