Shocking... just for saying 'Flipping Foolish Silliness'? I thought everyone knew that's what FFS meant.
-
Oh don't you just love forum police.. FFS this is a discussion forum, and this is a topical subject for discussions so why lock a thread that is not out of hand?
-
Not sure I agree. The ban is in place now, its basically cost him two shots at the World Title (last season and this), he got the ban time for everyone to move on now.
-
I don't need anyone to make my own mind up little boy, and I am in full agreement with Gavan, on all three points he made.
-
Did you take your ear plugs for when shouty had the microphone?
-
I can't believe people pay to go and listen to motormouth Pearson, the man who sucks up to riders soooo much his opinions mean nothing. Tatum does, not sure about the other one.
-
That's unfair on clowns!
-
Love the profile photo... caption 'why always us?' ??
-
and if he can't I am sure some rule will be found that can be made flexible to help them.....

By buying a copy of the magazine

I do hope the Star published a letter with the opposing view... something along the lines of 'shame it is taking so long to hear the case, but nobody can blame anybody but Ward himself for putting himself in this position'.
-
Despite Middlo's stupidity, we have to thank him for providing this seasons winter drama to keep us all entertained... or is it a black comedy?
-
I see Middlo is playing the victim card again on Twitter. Neil Middleditch @middlo57 · 14h 14 hours ago Called all the names I knew today nobody has any idea what's going on this is beyond a joke it doesn't HAVE to take this long!!#disgraceful

Exactly, the thing the consumer needs to remember is that for Sky it is better they get something each month rather than nothing. I am happy to pay £32 a month, but I would not pay close to £60 a month unless I was at home all day watching hours and hours of TV.
-
For all those people moaning about paying your Sky subscription, I generally find a little haggling is enough to get the full package for a good price. Sometimes you have to give the months notice to leave, and then call back a couple of weeks later to see if they have any deals to keep you. I have had Sky half-price for a couple of years now and I find £32 a month very good value for money for the amount of TV I watch. I tend to think of it this way, if I watch one football match a week or one cricket game in the Summer and one speedway meeting, plus say one movie a week, all of that is well worth less than £7.50 a week. I can't believe that some people only buy Sky to watch speedway and don't actually watch any of the other sport or channels.

Not at all, I think what Gavan is saying is that it is acceptable to say 'I am a Poole fan, I support Darcy but on this occasion he was a bit silly and sadly, he will need to be punished. I will support him on his return'. That would be an acceptable thing to say, showing support for your team and your rider. Sadly what we seem to see from many Poole fans is... 'I am a Poole fan, and Darcy is my hero. He did nothing wrong and the FIM are bastards for dragging this farcical hearing out'.
-
Here is an idea, check out www.google.co.uk to see exactly what I mean, lots of articles on the subject. You brought football into it, so let me just add, I love how Liverpool fans like to moralise, the same set of fans who used to chant about Munich for years (I believe they still do) everytime they played Man Utd.
-
I know, 99% of me think he is getting just deserts, but 1% of me feels for him that the wait is leaving him uncertain (I have been there, it's not nice).
-
I never thought I would say this, but I am starting to feel a little bit (just a little bit) sorry for the fella.
-
That's what happens when you put 2+2 together, get it wrong, my comment was aimed at the place in general, even some of my Liverpudlian friends agree. As for Hillsborough, it's off topic, the innocent died that day, but I am happy to debate that and Heysel on the football thread.
-
Not at all, most of us just find it pathetic how everyone associated with Poole are waiving the 'victim' status over Ward (he should be in Liverpool!). If, as it appears he is guilty I personally think a ban taking into account time served suspended should be made, meaning he gets his slap on the wrist but is green lighted to ride again.
-
A quoute from Mr Ward earlier today on Twitter, which I do somewhat understand his frustrations. He was silly, and I have little sympathy, but I do understand. What I don't understand are the idiots that reply back to him, some examples below. I have removed their Twitter names to protect the utterly stupid! That said, amongst the lunacy was a rare and sole Tweet reply of sanity.
-
It doesn't matter if the time scales are appropriate or not. All could have been avoided by Mr Ward not drinking the day before a World Championship racing event. End of.
-
You can understand Ward misunderstanding but his legal team were there I think I read, so you would assume they didn't misunderstand, or have badly advised Ward.

We are all entitled to one.. just some are more stupid than others.
