  1. I think 'plenty' is taking it a bit far, for the first half a dozen races there was not a single pass (other than when a rider locked up).
  2. Sometimes you just want someone to hold their hands up and say 'Sorry, we made a mistake, we will get it right next time'. Whilst that does not compensate the fans who paid to travel, it would at least acknowledge the fact they recognise things went wrong.
  3. bullrubbish sports? Football, cycling? seriously? You try cycling 100 odd miles a day for close to three weeks as they do in the Tour and tell me it's not a sport.
  4. Apology? never gonna happen, they are too busy laughing all the way to the bank!
  5. Clearly you only have the capacity to focus on one thing, for most other people we can focus on more than one thing at a time, like watching and enjoying racing whilst showing our support for favourite riders, be that a Union jack or a favourite rider flag.
  6. Last night was a shambles and the people who suffered were the fans. The fans who paid to travel to Poland, the fans from Poland who paid lots of money to attend and even the fans at home who sat through it. We can see it, we can see temp tracks are a farce, why can't others? Pearson (perhaps protecting his free speedway travel) tried to defend it too with this tweet 'Keep believing, keep being ambitious. Recover from setbacks, @SpeedwayGP deserves to be in world class venues. Time to move on. Goodnight.'. It's ok to move on if you have not paid hundreds of quid to attend I suppose. If true, then it is very much equally as important issue. To tell other fans they can not fly their national flag, but allow other national flags is in fact outrageous. Imagine next time England play Poland in a European match, there would be a riot if the Polish stadium authorities tried to ban the Union Jack. It's a flag people have fought and died for, In fact in 1939 men from this country went to war with Germany because of the fact they invaded Poland. So don't call it a 'poxy flag' you ****.
  7. Sometimes you have to take a step back to recharge batteries, maybe that is far more important than doing a few gym sessions (depending on his general fitness).
  8. No, if the FIM have released their comments publically, then you can be sure the statement was emailed to Ward and/or his legal team.
  9. Yeah, I don't know his name but the guy who commentates with Sudden Sam is really good, and east listening on the ear without being boring or SHOUTY.
  10. Bit harsh.... blame the person who acted unprofessionally, not us!
  11. He did wrong and now been punished, so let him get on and race I say... provided, he holds his hands up and says 'I was stupid, I apologise, and want to get on with my racing now', then give him the Aussie wildcard at the end of the year. But if he insists on appeals based on technicalities (rather than innocence) then screw him, force him to qualify.
  12. You are joking? Pearson's love in for Hancock is embarrassing. Lets hope he knows how a GP works this season when it comes to the GP winner at the end of the night. Yep.
  13. Perhaps if the wildcard bid fails he can be used during the meeting build up to entertain the crowd, you know someone dressed up as a clown riding a motorcross bike.....
  14. Thank you, I agree it was a nice piece of writing on my part, I am glad you liked it my friend.
  15. Thank you.... I am glad you liked my writing, and the only response you can offer is to be sarcastic, I guess that means I hit the nail on the head. Plus I am not a journalist writing for speedway fans.
  16. I am not a fan of the Star at the moment but printer prices are always increasing, so sometimes you have a choice, less quality paper (feels the same to me as it goes) or maintain quality paper and increase the price to the end user. Are end users going to want to pay more money? I doubt it.
  17. I picked up and purchased the Speedway Star last night after some of your comments to see what stance the magazine took on all this. It reinforced my belief (rightly or wrongly) that the Speedway Star is not for the fans, it is still trotting out what the clubs want it to trot out. In this day and age of the internet, I think the magazine needs to reinvent itself somehow (just my personal opinion). With the Ward matter, it is right it is discussed, and it tries hard to sit on the fence, but it still ends up being a Ward excusest and a publicity machine for the Ward/Middlo spiel. The 'unsavoury' comment allegedly coming from fans on Twitter and forum sites was made, yet where was the criticism of the Ward sycophants who could be suggested to be responsible for boosting Ward's thinking he is being treated badly? Giving Middlo a platform to once again trot out his 'handling of the whole affair atrocious' spiel was laughable, maybe that could have waited a week or two? It primarily blames everyone for Ward's problems but falls short of saying this entire mess is ultimately Ward's fault, which is the truth of the matter.
  18. But we have all seen the Twitter feed, there are still a lot of mindless, stupid, idiotic, brain dead fans on there that appear to think he can do no wrong... couple of here too!
  19. I agree on the ISIS scum I can not believe papers like the Mail publish their atrocities. But Ward is a newsworthy story, the headline should have read 'Ward finally deservingly banned'. Which in my opinion is exactly why the speedway press, including Pearson constantly sit on the fence with splinters in their ass because they are so afraid of upsetting 'speedway stars'/their mates out of fear of not getting Sky/Star columns/interviews with them in the future if they are too critical.
  20. Blimey, he must have had more than just a couple the night before then I would assume?
  21. Maybe because he needs the money from riding in GB after a long lay off?
  22. Then I rightly hold my hands up and apologise for suggesting you are a Muddlo fan... he is still a clown though.
  23. Exactly, can't refute my point so I must be stupid! The cap may well fit me, but it still does not take away from the fact your Muddlo is STILL going to be a clown!
  24. He called one guy retarded, not fans in general, but yes, still very stupid thing to say. Should be able to read it all here: https://twitter.com/phillipsr8/status/561237308532592642 Wouldn't change the fact he is a clown if said face-to-face or online. Above link to tweet proof in point.... clown.
  25. The opposite is so very true, Muddlo has shown what a first class wally he is, and why the name Muddlo is so very apt. He called one guy retarded, not fans in general, but yes, still very stupid thing to say. Should be able to read it all here: https://twitter.com/phillipsr8/status/561237308532592642
