  1. Don't be so stupid. He is gutted. Do you really want a rider to be cheerful and happy and not caring less that they lost?? We have too many mercenary riders in British speedway, so it's nice to see someone genuinely caring that his team lost.
  2. If I was a Belle Vue fan, I would be really pleased seeing how much Cook is hurting tonight at losing.
  3. I don't hate Tai, but his behaviour all season left me not respecting or liking him. So the Belle Vue fans have nothing to be ashamed about.
  4. I did.. until this season. World Champion or not, some of his antics on the microphone throughout the entire season show him to be unprofessional and lacking class. Hard to support someone who behaves like that.
  5. Wow Woffy calling the fans in the stands 'idiots'. Throughout the season I have lost all respect for Tai, and I was a big Tai fan... until now.
  6. I am ignoring the local village idiot wind-up merchant Shovlar, he's been taking swipes at Belle Vue all night. But Screm, Freddie clearly rode above 'hard racing', he move with Cook's wheel was really naughty.
  7. Not sure about that, Pearson's too busy confusing every single fan with his scoring comments right now. He's done that a few times of late. Not sure if he watches live or the VT. In fact as I type this he is shouting Lindgren made a great start, when he was at the back on the first bend. Suspect Specsavers needed.
  8. Belle Vue still won the league though. Wolves are simply the play off KOC winners.
  9. What do you expect from a guy wearing gloves presenting on TV.... akin to the wally with the brolly that.
  10. A) I am not suggesting they chocked at all, where or how did I even suggest that. I posted that Belle Vue deserved the 'League Champion' tag before the play offs. C) Belle Vue won over 28 matched by 5 points. Their league result at Wolves is irrelevant, over 28 matches Wolves lost by 5 points. D) Your post and most of your posts are so patronising.
  11. Total disgrace that an entire league campaign can be decided because of one bad night. I don't buy that Play-off's add excitement, we are all sat here waiting for the inevitable to happen later. Maybe lady luck will be on Belle Vue's side, but should an entire season long campaign need 'luck' on one night? No.
  12. Not conducive to good racing though, and as others have said the overtakes were mainly because Belle Vue riders messed up.
  13. That's my point I guess, if you won the league you should not have to win the play off to be called league champions.
  14. No it won't. Belle Vue were the best team by far, a clear 5 points over a 28 match season. It is unjust, unfair and inappropriate if Belle Vue don't go into the record books as League Winners because of one bad night at a weird track in the West Midlands. You will all tell me that's the rules, but I don't accept it.
  15. When? Greg's not been injured to lose a world title as he! As Pearson keep pointing out he's only ever missed 1 GP because of injury and he won the title that season anyway!
  16. To be fair who would want to! But any TV deal should ensure all clubs get an equal amount. For next season, could Sky please show Belle Vue at home every other week (I jest, I know they can't, but if quality of racing was the clincher, they should!). Every meeting shown provided some great entertainment and racing.
  17. And if you don't believe me, listen to the moment Iversson goes past Hancock, his Woooo....ooo was one of dissapontment that his man had been passed. Don't beleive, play it back!
  18. Wow, could Pearson be any more of a Hancock fan boy? Shouting the red lights were on 'Hancock was under power, thank goodness for that'. Earlier in the meeting during his first ride he tried to be sarcastic and hit back at Hancock critics by saying 'who says Hancock just wins from the gate'.. failing to point out he only won that first race because the rider in front of him had messed up, so it wasn't an overtake as such. This guy is a woeful commentator with clear biased for his favourites. Still, with Hancock being in the mix tonight at least the fan boy got to mention his Cradley team twice. Is there a GP this season where Cradley have not got a mention?
  19. He was referring to Freddie then? I thought he was, but assumed I must be wrong with them being team mates for a while with Wolves.
  20. Who was Tai referring to in that interview when he said he does not trust that specific rider? Pearson glossed over it of course, thought it was not worthy of discussion.
  21. Exactly right. Seems to me Harris is unfairly excluded by default a fair bit in the GPs. Clearly caused by Freddie lifting, took Harris's front wheel and his bike took Doyle. Not deliberate by any of the riders, but it all started by Freddie lifting.
  22. So whose league should take precedent? Maybe the only rule should be riders should give priority to fixtures in their own nation, i.e. Poles must ride in Poland on fixture clashes, Danes in Denmark and Brits in the UK.
  23. Which Poole team do you refer to? The league season or the one Poole will inevitably create for those final four play-off matches?
