  1. if any British promotor is thinking of Holder and Batchelor for next season, take a look at this to see how unprofessional and pathetic these two morons are. I hope we never see these pair of ***** racing in British speedway again. https://twitter.com/batchattack75/status/894253902648012800 Even though a different situation in that that Swedish fixture will have been in Thomas H diary long before he agreed to race in the UK. The fact Batchelor chose to highlight that on Twitter shows how petty and stupid he is. But Holder's response to that is petulant, petty, childish and disrespectful to Thomas H. But how stupid are the sycophants who agree with these two morons. Don't you realise they are not interested in helping British speedway sort its problems out, they only care about themselves.
  2. I think that is a step too far. We don't want to stop Aussies racing here (although judging how many of them are slagging off British speedway on Twitter we should!). No, we just need to set rules in place that whilst they race in British Speedway they treat British speedway with respect and priority. If they choose to race elsewhere that is absolutely fine, provided it is not at expense of British speedway clubs and fans.
  3. Weird thing about this thread and the Holder/Kings Lynn situation is I am amazed that so many British speedway fans (mainly Poole fans) think British Speedway automatically owes these Aussies a living and we should ignore it when they mess British speedway around.
  4. I agree it would be poorer without the colour Aussies (used to be said about the American's, but I don't think anyone can call Hancock colourful). The point is, we have to stop overseas riders using British Speedway and start getting tougher.
  5. Got to love these Aussies. Rory Schlein on Twitter Is this the same Aussie who was happy to accept a British license and ride in the British final?
  6. I hope there is. We don't need these time wasters that only want to use British speedway for a ticket to race in Poland.
  7. I see the logic, but it means accepting we will always be second best when it comes to riders prioritising fixtures.
  8. What is Cook on about on Twitter? I assume £200 per point? and I assume more to it than a random official punching him for nothing?
  9. No it's not Peterborough's fault, or British speedway's or British fans..... it's Holders for not declining Torun and representing his British club.
  10. Go on, I will bite. You are of course absolutely right, the speedway world doesn't revolve around British speedway, that is clear for all to see. If Aussies or Poles or Swedes or Danes thing the grass is greener elsewhere then that is 100% fine. But it is not fine to only half-hearted commit to British speedway, it's not unreasonable to ask riders to choose, ride in the UK or not, but don't half comitt.
  11. This is getting silly now. Regardless of being given permission or not by his club, I am fed up of overseas riders coming in and using British speedway until 'better' opportunities come along. Commit to putting your British club 100% first throughout an entire season or don't sign for a British club.
  12. The approach taken this week (if the rider sycophants would shut up) should help a few of the Aussies realise they will no longer be allowed to mess British Speedway around.
  13. I wonder what would have happened to all of them had social media and 24/7 news been prevalent back then? How many of them would have ended up going down the Holder/Ward route of assholeness.
  14. Josh Gudgeon wrote this - https://twitter.com/JoshGudgeon/status/892850968232157185 which Holder retweeted with a pair of eyes being rolled.
  15. His professionalism (or lack of) showing through on Twitter last night with his sarcastic response to the KL defeat retweet he made, no thought to his former teammates and fans who supported him at KL. Kings Lynn might have lost, but do you really want a man like that representing your club?
  16. Depends if he thought he was being taken for a ride... then how many of us wouldn't screw those trying to screw us? Rightly or wrongly.
  17. So did Batch actually say on that evening to someone 'the track is not raceable'? Or is that bit being added at this later stage?
  18. Exactly... If I refused to do my job (when colleagues all around where doing it) then made veiled digs about statements on social media I would be rightly sacked... and I wouldn't expect any kind of favour from my boss in the process of them sacking me or any help from them in helping me get another job. Batch situation I am not sure about, but Holder had it coming from what I can tell. Does British speedway need all these Aussies? Sure we will be poorer without them short term maybe, but there would be a lot less whinging and the sport would survive.
  19. Don't worry, Poole usually find a way to bring in riders at the last minute. I am sure they will be back at Poole in a week or so.
  20. Judging by his unprofessional comments on Twitter I hope no British promotor touches him ever again.
  21. Why? He walked away from Team GB for the SWC with no good reason, so why should be automatically allowed back in? Yes he is our best rider, but that should not mean he calls the shots!
  22. Rubbish.... if he said nothing then fans would be moaning. Look on this forum and the main gripe from fans is the lack of communication from the club..... they communicate and people still moan. As an outsider looking in, then it seems to me the statement is not unprofessional it is just stating facts, they can't trust their riders.
  23. Legend? This is a despicable man who throws a tantrum when he doesn't get his own way. Lets rollback to the end of the SGP last season. Opening ride wins the title, third ride it appeared for the world that he deliberately (is that not called cheating?) slowed down to let Monster teammate Holder get his much needed win. The ref agreed this was dodgy and rightly excluded HanCOCK. What happens next Hancock throws a childish tantrum and withdraws from the meeting (claiming clutch problems)... only to appear later to collect his trophy. Legend? I think not. Last season in the SWC he turned up for the semi-final, was interviewed and made no suggestion that he would not be at Belle Vue for the race off. Come race off night, HanCOCK was nowhere to be seen and had decided not to bother coming to the UK citing some lame excuse that he was giving the kids a chance. No thought about the British fans he cheated, or the other teams who benefited from additional points most likely gained from the rides he should have been in. Legend? I think not. Then the incident with Nikki where HanCOCK assaulted NP (was rightly fined, but not enough). The fight was heat of the moment stuff. What happened two days later was not. He or his team made a statement on his website making some very personal accusations about Nikki and seemingly questioning his mental health. The post was akin to bullying Nikki in my opinion. The post seems to have been removed, so I can't quote from it. So no, Greg Hancock is less Legend and more HanCOCK.
  24. One thing for sure, whenever he is at the tapes, people pay attention and watch!
