MC gives each school (club) a shout out over the microphone etc etc Supporters Club in the school. School trips. Badges. Banners. Talks in assembly. A talk to the science class about engines. Whats the point of qualifiers? If you dont qualify and your face fits you get in? it appears a farce? if you havent qualified had a bad year or 2 you still might get in? (elaborate enough!) Right Country? Its not the Olympics or Football! (They had a few more people involved than 15!) If Harris was from any other speedway country he would not be in! (And I like watching him!!!!) Injured! Not opposed to Emil or Nikki being in GP at all they both spice it up! as does Hampel. But what is the limit? any defined rules? or just made up on an annual basis? How can any Rider know whats expected of them if the rules are a complete blur? is Harris in next year? is Tai in next year? Will it be top 8? top 10? or what they feel like at the time? Needs some definition! Top 7 re-qualify, 2 injury places awarded if you were in the top 7 when the injury occures. End of season qualifiers finals! 2 qualification finals top 2 go through from each (You dont enter if you dont want to ride in GP but you are contracted to if you enter), 2 places from league combination averages (Pick any 2 top leagues) Just a quick guess

Nikki incident. WOW close call for the ref! IMO Nikki was in front, never drastically changed line, was ridden into by the other rider, AJ's leg hits Nikkis back wheel (the back of the wheel) So Nikki was well in front! I realy think reputations of the riders made the refs call! Nikki (boo hiss bad man etc etc) AJ the good guy. Love watching Nikki 100% effort even when not the quickest (I know he can be brutal) Love watching AJ Top rider (Hope AJ is ok) Re the interview, well not good but to be expected. Professional interviewers know when to point a camera at people and when not to! (I think they wanted a fiery reaction) Great to see Gollob back on form (pretty ruthless form to) Holder well its his to lose now, great consistancy (He could have a fair few tropies soon!!!!!!!!!) Lindback wow his motors look super quick, and he seems to be able to ride more consistantly. Harris! gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr flashes of brilliance!!!!!! needs to spend 2 hours a day practicing gating, buy quicker kit, get a better set up (as always), maybe a new pit crew! I so want him to do well! But he HAS TO MAKE CHANGES NOT PLOD ALONG ! IF YOU DONT MAKE CHANGES THINGS STAY THE SAME !!!!!!!!!!!! TRANSPONDERS WOULD WORK A TREAT! Look at Mylaps.com for the amount of sports that use them! Loads of formula wont let you race without them, saves disputes, lap scores making mistakes, errors on records being made.

Not sure on the best way to take this forward realy? When would his close family like the reminders to stop? maybe quickly, maybe never? Perhaps event organisers should just ask them? (We want to do a tribute "video, book, meeting" etc etc) Is that ok with you his closest family? And respect their wishes. A top racer, but also a family man & their wishes MUST BE RESPECTED. M

Am afraid to say Harris/Nichols great racers, rubbish to inconsistant gaters! We might as well try the young blood! What have we to lose? Would they have scored less points than Harris this year so far? I doubt it (Great racer but soooooooo frustrating!)

On TV the track to start looked great, fast, overtaking etc! the commentators even noted unusual to have a raceable track so early on! Then they worked it? pressed it and made it hard! Holder, top draw, can gate, can pass. Hancock, unlucky Crump, unlucky, hope all ok Pederson, got blocked and thats racing, what a tryer! Harris, Great racer! (You can not win enough races at this level FROM THE BACK!!) Buy some gating gloves, lessons or whatever it takes. Nicholls, Great racer, Good speed, inconsistant gating, proved best of the brits! Fast Fred, Got it right near the end (Well done) Lindback (Hot n cold) when he is hot he is hot! oh and cool! Gollob, still not there for some reason Emil, Great race with Holder, pretty much on a par with Holder Pretty decent meeting, some great races, some British dissapointment (As expected) M

I Think the sport needs a competitive 2nd half! of any description?!?!? Timed flying laps? Timed lap from the tapes? Staggered starts Stars against the average joe! Would even give the riders time to test engine settings/gating/tyre pressures etc & check data/speed against the clock. Speed guns could be used & prizes for fastest rider at the end of the straight. With a good MC / Compere it could be fun ! different ! interesting ! M (again)

Make it simpler! Try and explain the rules of a meeting? the team make up? reserves? rider replacement? The Black & White Helmet? The points structure? to somebody new to it!! I cant (I dont understand it all anyway) 3 Leagues fine (What size league does depend on how many can make it pay in each league) Elite 12-15 Premier 12-15 National 12-15 teams. How can things work properly with no promotion or relegation (For whatever reason it looks bad if people dont want to be promoted!) Maybe the Teams should have an average ? Maybe the average should be in blocks (x2 superstars Max average 19 or 20 x2 stars max average 15 or 16 x2 middle order max average 10-11 x2 Reserves Max average 5-7) You can only replace with a rider from a grade/level below if you need to. Only Reserves & middle order allowed to double up. Get rid of the joker in all meetings (Its a joke) It needs to be easy and transparent!!!!!!!!! How can anybody expect new spectators when the rules are so so complicated that they would never fully understand whats going on! Grumble over have fun M

Oh ! In the cool section as the lads are acting cool thinking its easy! Sell tickets for a "Training/coaching day" £25/£30 a go get some raw talent in, make it memorable (A few old bikes and a few ex-current riders) We might even find some talent?????

To get people in it does need a target audience! The trouble is we need the target audience to be everybody! (Traditionally I see Speedway supporters getting older & bloody older1 more blankets and bovril about than anything else! Perhaps the viewing areas should be split into several sections (Only an idea and would cost money) 1. Family viewing, family tickets, cheap kids drinks & food with a cheap act compere in that area (Whats a clown cost for the night?) 2. Trendy area, Red Bull stand, cider promo etc? different music (dj?) more of a party atmosphere (Invite cool companies "Nightclub/Bar) for free promo nights-every company wants a freebee!?!) (Cheap transfer from the family area for the teenagers) Rave whistles? air horns? get the party going! (They love the mud at festivals so a bit of mud doesnt put them off if the product is good & cool?!?!?!? Prize draw for a pit tour and free photo with a rider (will look great in the local paper!? Competitions to be a start line girl?!?!? with a free video of them prancing about on the start line?!?! 3. Traditional area, for us more traditional fans! pies, coffee, beer etc (Greggs love to give away freebies?!?! vouchers etc) Tickets could include a pie & a drink & programme? Go to a casino and they come and take your orders and bring the drinks / food back to you?!?! saves missing the action?!?!? who wants to go and queue?!? So many things with so little time to save what could be a great sport Oh for that big lottery win?!?!? The meetings need to be an occasion! and very few are! Peoples/promotors lethargy does sometimes make me mad! Nothing will happen unless they try to make things happen! If it doesnt work try something else! Rant over!

He was excluded! correctly in my opinion! Loved the disagreement about it from commentary tho! made me laugh! (That doesnt happen often!)

I thought it was going to be a boring looking meeting! But it somehow worked. Sometimes a track with a hole a groove some grip can add to the meeting the racing. Nikki P, he wants it and going well cool calm & quick. Mr G, (When did they start calling him that?) Rubbish to start with came on so strong, a couple of blinding passes (wow) could have won it. AJ, On top form,(Class) tailed off (a little poorly?) The son of the bloke who owns the track??? did well (Daddy must have been loving it!) and why not he was quick and held nerve, could have won it! Holder, Ouch! went ok, bad luck on crash, ouch again. Not his best meeting. Crump, Hot and cold understandable. Quick at times Harris. MY GOD HE IS SO FRUSTRATING. WHEN HE MISSES A GATE HE MISSES THE GATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can be a proper alarm clock job! (wake up the tapes are up) But a better GP and had speed/pace! Hancock. Welcome to my first post (Am ready to be moaned at) Am sure I can take it! (I hope) Denmark, did very well Nikki P just loves it! Youngsters held there nerve and did a fantastic job! Australia, all a little shocked I think! Holder is brilliant, but must learn spitting a mouthfull next to the camera is always going to make you look stupid. Watt not quick enough. Russia, well done, showed passion! Nikki P and the "Joker race" or "Joke of a race" Took me by suprise as it did Crump! Fantastic entertainment (Lets face it the Aussies were caught out by Nikki and his sticky throttle) big smile. He must have still been racing as I think he came third in that race. Nikki P not the fastest, but commited, quick from the gate and has the will to win at all costs. Like it or not speedway needs entertainers, pantomime villains, controversy, talking points. 50% of the GPs I watch on TV the most memorable talking point has something to do with Nikki P (The rest is just racing, good or bad) The "Joker Rule" in general!!!!!!!!!! If you make strange rules/strange things will happen. It would have been SO UNFAIR IF AUSTRALIA HAD WON after playing the joker! (Within the rules but unfair) Well done Denmark from a neutral
