Enjoyed my visit to Scunny with the rest of the Comets fans on the 1st bend we certainly made ourselves heard and drown out those cheers from the home crowd ;-);-) It was a good meeting i did get abit worried at one point rusty and rene didnt hit the heights we comets fans no they can however both pulled off brilliant final rides to keep it tight. Ash Morris deserves a big mention one of his best meetings imo. thanks to our guests cookie and Micky oh and the ref got the call wrong Howe took Micky off therefore Howe should of been taken out the rerun. Great Speedway! Well done the Comets 2 points

Chuffed with the whole team tonight what a performance, the lads were up for it from the off. Thanks to Cook and Dyer also. it was nice to see Richard Lawson in attendance hoping hes back on the bike for Tuesday at Scunny.. ANY pics Topaz?

Good meeting really enjoyed it i took 2 work mates (1st time at speedway ) who said they would return which is a big plus. Once again nice to see Tigers fans at DP despite the score.hope you enjoyed it and had a safe trip home. no doubt we will have battle again ;-);-)

Our PL season starts tomorrow at Derwent Park and although we took a point from Sheffield around Owlerton last night nothing should be took for granted as I feel its going to be another close . Steady, Wells and Hall should bring strong competition to our heat leaders. Any Sheffield fans making the trip? The weather is sunny here today so if its like this tomorrow we should be in for a treat!

Agree Justin, Newcastle are a good team and it was a good nights speedway with our boys coming out on top. (imo lawson man of meeting ) Support the comets. everyone aware of the meaning support... as justin comet10 says give the guys a break. well done Comets

Like all im gutted we lost right at the wire but still our team done well. SUPPPORT!!!! well done Comets but well done Redcar on a win. Good worky suppprt to i might add.

Always enjoy trips to stmp , i'm going for a 42-48 win for the Comets it wont be easy. i'm always hoping for the same Matej Kus I seen ride at dp last sat ;-) but no doubts a certain Bears reserve will rack up some points from 7 rides tonight.....

We always seem to do well on our visits to stmp lets hope 2013 is no different, thoughts on this one folks? Should be plenty of Comets fans there bus load plus cars.

What a nights Speedways miles better then last week, the racing tonight was top drawer All the Comets rode brillantly and done us proud. thnaks to Millsy who came in to ride at short notice and didnt dissapoint! Dyer was by far the best Bear on show and was involved in alot of the close racing. Matej Kus...... What has happened to that guy?? The only downside to the meeting for me was the lack of away support from the Redcar fans you lot used to brighten up our meetings with all your red banners and vocal support come back Bears fans you are missed!! All in all a enjoyable night

Of course but just not enough to go and win at Redcar by the margin they did.

I was surprised when I seen the score Redcar being beaten at home by Newcastle as I rated the Bears team so I don't know what to think now! However we do tend to get some strange results at the start of the new season? I'll go for around a 10 point win for the Comets. Always enjoy our meetings against Redcar heres a question how will Kus go...... 3 points or 13? we shall see! ;-)

It was great to watch the racing last night track not great but it was a freezer of a night good win for the Comets. Howarth and rusty were our star men. sad that Tero got injured :-(
