  1. I fully expect the admission fee to be reduced at Ashfield next season as the product we're buying is inferior. Hmm.....
  2. I'm thinking of a word. It starts with "ch" and rhymes with "poke"
  3. Total bollocks. He's embarrassing. Complin would have bitten his hand off for 7 rides.
  4. I'd salute GS550 if he or she did. It's easy to be right it's less easy to be wrong.
  5. "Must" is not correct. You are correct that technically they're allocated one each. What you're failing to acknowledge, and I can understand why, you've nailed your colours to a mast, it's difficult to hold your hands up and say okay I've got this wrong, is that Lee can RR Ace's r/r. Ace does not have to take an r/r. I'm giving you an out. You're technically correct that one of the r/r's is allocated to Ace.
  6. What I'm a bit puzzled about TBH is why no-one at all appears to be able to overrule him, or strongly persuade him to change his mind? Was there no debrief from last week? Does Peter or Harris, for example, not discuss a meeting once it's over. "Eh Cami see if that happens again next week just gonnae no".
  7. No, I am not. Ace does not have to take a rider replacement ride. Do keep up.
  8. Is there any Tigers fan who wants Brown to be the team manager next year? I'm not asking if he's a great guy. I'm not asking if he's a great supporter of Glasgow speedway. I'm asking is he a good team manager, yes or no?
  9. Total ineptitude by our team manager. Even if Glasgow win this tie, which is pretty unlikely, Brown has to go. Anyone who cannot see that Ace was guaranteed to be last and that Complin "might" not be, isn't good enough.
  10. I'm sure I saw earlier in this thread or another that it is <=4.00.
  11. Just a general rule question..... A tape touching doesn't count as a ride does it? If it does then that's a recipe for some jiggery pokery.
  12. How does a No8 actually work? Could a No8 have 7 rides? Assuming you're right then WTF was Broon thinking?
  13. You're both right and wrong here........I think! Lee could, in theory, take all 4 rider replacement rides, as a reserve. Obviously he technically wouldn't as that would be Lee's 4 programmed plus Lee taking all 4 RRs = 8. So if Lee took all 4 RRs then Ace would need to take one of Lee's programmed rides which would end up Ace having 5 rides on the night, which wasn't wanted. So I think you're right that Ace was compelled, on that night, to take his 4 programmed rides, at least but he wasn't compelled to take any RR rides. Happy for anyone to contradict.
  14. As far as I know, yes, 3 ride minimum, happy for someone more familiar with today's rulebook to contradict. On the face of it, see above, another very poor decision from Broon.
  15. Unlucky Nicholls.......your team appear to have lost..... Hmm.
  16. I was answering the question "when does this fixture need to be completed by". I wasn't suggesting that it'll be Saturday.
