I understand, probably due to finances, why he stuck with the Speedway GP but objectively he might have had a better chance of becoming Long Track World Champion, if he switched sooner.
I do have a chuckle when the camera goes tighter on the riders in their pit, the Monster sponsored ones, easing "Monster Joe" out of shot, despite his vain attempts to hog the limelight.
Serious question..... who actually is he? Does he own Monster?
He caught my eye too with his first couple of rides but then I noticed he didn't change lines at all, irrespective of where anyone else was.
Not trying to be over critical of a novice but he'd really have impressed if he had tried a Plan B at any time.
Obviously that would come with experience.
Fact is Foord looked a better bet than Pijper today.
