Well said Skiddy - totally agree! I wouldn't agree with Allan Phillips that he isn't a big name - I think given that he is only 19 he is quite a coup for Brummies. ......in fact I think I might make the trek over to Birmingham on Wednesday!

Ryan is still scoring well for the Panthers so not sure why his form has dipped for the Bees. Any thoughts?

Very true Gem but that was not in the middle of the racing season. It will be very interesting to see if any changes are made.

Can't see a change being made to be honest. Would seem rather harsh on Fish as he was scoring well at the start of the season and is capable of getting back amongst the points.

Good win for the Bees but it still doesn't mean their home form is going to change and until that happens I think they will struggle to finish in the play-off positions. Personally, knowing Mick Horton I think he will stick with this team. From Poole's point of view they would have won had Darcy not crashed in Heat 15. Carrying the injury must be making a massive difference to how he is able to control the bike. There must be some concern for Matt Ford though as a Poole team can usually 'carry' a couple of underperforming riders and still win reasonably comfortably. Unlike Coventry, changes on the way I would think.

I can't disagree with any of your comments GRW - I have said many times that I would not like to be a promoter in these very difficult economic times. I have a lot of respect for them in trying to keep this great sport of ours alive. There is just one slight flaw in point you make - the BSPA are these same promoters you and I are referring to and I just don't get it that they can't work together to find the solutions to the problems the sport evidently has. Good post though......

This all sounds very dodgy to me. A rider was lined up but then got injured so why wasn't Smart used if he was able to ride on Weds? Oh, of course, he was working on Monday but booked a day off to ride on Weds!!!!
