  1. Good score from Joe Jacobs last night at Swindon. 8+1 including a fall. Need him to produce that form at the very least in the PL.
  2. Yes I am sure that's the case. He seemed pretty happy in the riders/officials car park on Friday night after the meeting at Brandon, signing autographs etc!
  3. Admittedly it is the PL Jacques but his body language in the last couple of weeks does suggest he has got his 'mojo' back!!!
  4. Do you honestly think you are going to get an answer to that question Skidder?
  5. Ouch, that doesn't sound very pleasant - hope he gets back on the track asap.
  6. Has it rained on your keyboard Steve? Your letters seem to have shrunk!!
  7. As much as Garrity has been a great reserve for Coventry this season I don't see him missing as such a loss as some are saying on here. Simon Lambert rode very well at Brandon last Friday and if he rides that well again it shouldn't make too much difference. IMO it's down to the 1-5 to perform. Ryan & Kyle need to 'up' their game!
  8. My my, how things have changed down at Wimborne Road. Coventry make a stunning change in the their team line-up to make a statement about their EL play-off intentions and Poole sign the rejected rider, allegedly!!
  9. The dirt deflectors have made a big difference in helping riders see much better and not getting 'filled in'. The rain-offs are more to do with promoters and/or the riders.
  10. Shame you put that £60 on Bees to win the EL - you could have used that for travelling over to Brandon occasionally!!
  11. Bees have made a great signing in MJJ that is not to be sneezed at!! As long as he doesn't miss too many meetings I can see Coventry climbing the table now. A few more trips on the cards now for me to Brandon.
  12. That sounded rather KKS/LGF esq......
  13. Thing is with Steve, he is a really, really nice guy when you meet him. But when he gets behind the keyboard he is completely different and a total wind-up merchant which is fine if you take it yourself but it seems he can't! It does seem to be more than a coincident that his self-imposed exile from the forum coincided with a home defeat at Poole. I for one hope he returns.
  14. Easy for us supporters to say when we are not out there on the bike, making a split decision at the time, possibly affected by poor visibilty through your goggles/tear-offs with pressure on your performance from the terraces!!! Just saying like!
  15. From a neutral perspective, very impressed with Jason Garrity and Lewis Blackbird on Friday. Olly Greenwood and Josh Bates didn't disgrace themselves either.
  16. But by the same token, do you really think signing Larsen the supporters will come flooding through the turnstiles?!
  17. Don't know whether they were wrestlers but they are retired now!!
  18. Official website is still saying Marek Meiner and Steve Austin but my guess is that it would be Colin Pratt.
  19. Not been to Poole this season so far but been to Brandon and I think both teams seem to be suffering from the same problems - unpredictable track and clearly a lack of confidence in riding on it. That will always help the visiting team. I have to say though that weather this year can not be helping but KL do manage to get a decent race surface despite the weather. Having said all that and contradicting myself, KL have had a few close meetings too I think. Any comments from Star's supporters?
  20. I have heard there is a Polish guy that has come available - would be happy to travel from the Midlands to the South Coast!!
  21. Which is why Millk is there in the first place!
  22. UKip are not hanging around, are they?
