I don't get the hysteria around tacticals. Surely it is the case that you run 2 meetings home and away, using tacticals if necessary in either meeting, add up the total points to see who wins! What difference does it make who rides at home first?
I agree with what you are saying there Shawn but Coventry got to the play-offs anyway without MJJ. What if he had been retained but then went 'missing' for the play-offs, Mick Horton would be slaughtered for not making a stand.
I am a Panther supporter who has been supporting and going to Brandon for most home meetings this season for my EL fix. I have really enjoyed most of the meetings this year and if a defeat next week is the end of Coventry's season then I salute this Coventry team of racers and Mick Horton for the entertainment I have had this year.
This is very bad news indeed, although not unexpected. Having had dealings with Dugard MC Tools over the years I have every respect for the Dugard family and their involvement in speedway over the years. It is also such a shame for the dedicated speedway fans at Eastbourne.
Bl**dy Hell, I have been to bed twice, Scotland have not got independence and women can now be members at The Royal & Ancient St Andrews Golf club and you two are still at it!!!!
I remember those days too and although we didn't have internet forums, supporters on the terraces complained about having No 8's coming into the teams but you didn't answer the question about how teams covered having half the team injured/banned. Your comment about RIP British speedway is well wide of the mark, IMHO.
I thought Max Fricke came across quite well when interviewed - seems like a nice lad! He seemed quite nervous - a nice trait in an Aussie for a change!!
