  1. Thanks for your opinions guys. I happen to think it is more in his head. I hope he can get sorted as he is a rider I love to see race.
  2. Nice to see updates directly from the track keeping supporters informed. Most other clubs could learn from this!!
  3. What are regular Poole supporters views on Holders form. Do you think it is the track or something else? Shame to see such a good rider struggling.
  4. Really? Not so sure about that. As long as Wells, Lindgren and PK keep up their current form - I can only see improvements from Thorsell and Museilak especially if the team carry some confidence going forward.
  5. I would expect them to say it Shawn, but not necessarily follow it up with actions!
  6. Maybe just maybe, Wolves are going to be a better proposition this season that most, including Wolves supporters, originally thought. If Musielak and Thorsell start scoring then watch out!!!
  7. So someone is crazy about speedway and wants share the joy and you knock it. I thought this is what speedway needed in this country rather than the usual negative, this is the end of speedway, wasn't like this in the 70's......blah...blah....blah!!!!
  8. Are you Matt Ford in disguise, Shawn?!! ;-)
  9. Oh yes. He is just going to do EL Guest Appearances and Panthers!!!
  10. Garrity in at Sheffield for Bellego: SHEFFIELD Tigers have moved quickly to agree terms with Jason Garrity to ease their injury crisis. Club bosses were keen to plug one of the gaps left by injuries to Simon Stead and David Bellego at the weekend. Garrity is hoping to make his debut on Thursday against Somerset at Owlerton – subject to the new line-up gaining the necessary approval from the sport’s management committee. The Manchester-born youngster, 21, scored a stunning 12-point maximum for his Elite League side Coventry in their win at Belle Vue last night. And Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: “The reason why we have moved so quickly is because it would be unfair on the team, and everyone else at the club, to carry the pressure of a guest and rider replacement. “When I called Jason it took two minutes to agree everything, he’s jumped at the chance to ride for us and I think he will be a real crowd pleaser. “I’m not putting any pressure on him, I’m just telling him to go out there and give it his best for us and score as many points as he can.” Garrity comes in as cover for Bellego who has a hip injury and they have booked Craig Cook to cover for Stead against Somerset.
  11. Excellent result for Coventry again away from home. Can't help thinking that they are stronger away than at home and don't think they will be so dominant on Friday. Zagar won't score 4 and Garrity won't get a maximum. If Schlein comes in for Stead then they could nick it!
  12. I thought Gemini said you couldn't take animals into the stadium!!!
  13. How will the new stadium help with fixture clashes?
  14. Immaculate 15 point maximum for Danny King at Foxhall last night. Really flying!!
  15. How do you know if the club did or did not take up this point, Shawn?
  16. No chance! Starman doesn't usually venture out of the safe confines of the Poole threads!!!
  17. Who would be a promoter, a track curator, a sponsor or anything to do with speedway management? You just can't win - supporters complain making stupid comments about the track time of tractors/graders v the bikes and then complain also if the track doesn't produce good racing. Some people have rose tinted specs on permanently remembering the 'good old days' as something they never were.
  18. Nice mature words from Josh - good luck to the lad. Hope he gets fixed up somewhere in the EL for the rest of the season.
  19. Sunday's MotoGp - now you are talking! I could watch that 6 times easily. Valentino has not lost it!!!
  20. Wow - 7 pages on a meeting that didn't take place! This is the place for top debating! The reliability of weather forecasting 6 or 7 rider teams - guest v RR and as for predicting the future - fast Freddie was gonna break the track record I don't know why we bother with the meetings!!
  21. Rather harsh criticism of the Coventry management I feel given that the promotion made the difficult telephone call to axe Jakub Jamrog to bring in Kylmakorpi. I hope the latter lives up to all the hype as I am sure he doesn't come cheap!
