I don't get all the criticism towards Rosco, he is Swindon TM and it is his job to field the strongest team for his employers and the fans and if he can also increase the attendances at Swindon then he has done his job. Without a strong English Elite League you don't have a national team so IMO those having a go at Rosco at out of order. Agreed FB. Ward will give his all for Swindon or any other team he may have ended up at - he is that sort of rider/person. The only issue I can see is if he has some genuine lack of form coming back from his time away from the sport or maybe bike problems, the usual suspects will be on here spouting cheat!!!!

Maybe you will also turn up at Blunsdon to help cover the cost if Hans returns!!

Fully agree that this is the way to promote a Sky meeting and get the supporters in which really does come over great on TV. However, it is no good kidding ourselves that the promotions can run meetings at these prices for the non-televised meetings - they would lose money hand over fist. Whether we like it or not, speedway is a £17/18 sport unless you can get enough sponsorship to subsidise lower admission prices. Anyway, it was a good spectacle last night and a great avert for speedway. Well done Swindon!

I can accept to some degree a level of banter/disagreement/insults within the thread itself but to allow titles to be used like this one is just wrong.

Absolutely Blu, Dak's performance this season has not come as a surprise to many who have followed his progression. It will be a travesty if he loses his place.

I don't think he is likely to be coming to Peterborough so no aspirations there. I just think he seems to be cosseted a bit too much at Poole and could do with a season or 2 away. Just my opinion!

Any more news on Olly Allen? I know he won't be riding again this season but I wondered how his rehabilitation was going?

If Ford and Middleditch can look at the bigger picture for once, maybe they would see that Darcy going to another team/club for the rest of this season and possibly next year too, would make him a better rider/person. He needs to loose the shackles of Poole Speedway IMO.

It's all very well having incentives when you are desperate to get more teams in the EL. Teams should want to go in the EL without the incentives for the right reasons. Speedway always seems to do things in a 'coerce' sort of way rather than what is natural for the supporters/teams/sport/riders.
