This looks a very good Swindon team for 2016. Definitely play-off material in my opinion. Having a top 5 of Aussies will also help with team spirit (now Batch has gone! ) Australian riders do seem to come over here and do very well whether it is in the leagues or in the GP's Any views on why that may be?

Agree with you there Starry, I reckon Adam probably is the reserve (FTR - can we still call them that?) with the biggest improvement potential.

That's fair comment then PQ7. That sounds like an acknowledgement that it isn't dwelling in the past but merely the fact that Poole Speedway were unable to accept in your words 'a brilliant win'.

I don't think it is anything to do with dwelling in the past and performances since. It was the manner in which that Coventry Bees team (including KK) won that play-off final and the way in which the Poole promotion were unable to deal with being beaten in their own back yard. I am unbiased as I am not a Bees supporter but I still regard that final (along with 2006 but I am biased) as one of the best EL play-off finals ever.

Martin really deserves to be back at the Storm. He had a great 2nd half to the season and I think if he carries that form into next season he will one of the NL top riders.

Supporters are saying they want an out & out No1 in the team. A strong top 5 that will compete with the best in 2016. I agree with all those comments in what may be the last season at Brandon so at least they can go out with a bang. However, supporters have got to get behind the team and turn out rather than moaning that they are not going to bother turning up. Regarding Sarj, he did have a poor 2nd half of the EL season but I saw him riding for Glasgow in the PL play off's and he was sensational so if he can bring that sort of form to the EL he will be a top reserve. I hope so as I really like the lad.
