How do you know he wasn't?

Martin Knuckey has been appointed captain for 2016. Big year for Martin - looking forward to this year at the Storm!

Just put a defamatory message about Matt Ford on the Poole thread and that will lure him out!! -

You, I believe! -
Poole & Swindon for me with the final being Robins V Aces. Difficult to predict bottom with teams not being complete but I can't see where Leicester will get the necessary riders from to make them competitive so I think they are odds-on.

You are beginning to sound a bit like Starman now Dave. I think it is more than a 'group of posters', they are not anti anything, they just want things to be done in a proper manner with transparency and with no dodgy dealings. I notice you are always one of a 'group of posters' who are always defending the actions of Poole, Ward and the BSPA so by the same token guilty of what you accuse others of, ie supporting each other on every issue.. -

SCB is not banned, he is suspended!! -
Nothing to do with forum rules. Rob72 was banned and never given a reason why. Now why would that be? Surely if you have contravened forum rules it would be a simple case of highlighting what he had done wrong. It will be interesting to hear what SCB has to say when he returns.

I remember Simon making an announcement to 'sit out' the 2015 season due to lack of motivation I believe. I always thought he was a very good rider that did not reach his full potential - particularly in the UK. Does anyone know if he plans to resume his riding career or is that it for him - fully retired?

Only just caught up with this thread - I must be a bit thick! I did think Shawn had gone a bit far with the title of the thread but when you read what a promoter has said about the supporters that keep this sport going and another promoter using the same language in a Twitter feed earlier this year, it is hard to disagree with SCB.
-
Yep, keep it as minimalist as possible and then the promotion can reduce to full adult price to the senior citizen price!!

Really chuffed Jamie has signed again - really nice lad!

Clive, as you probably know I also sponsor riders/meetings/heats etc and therefore like you, get to speak to riders and socialise with them. Unlike you though I never ever post things that have been discussed or overheard for this very reason. Things blow up in your face! I don't doubt you were told things in good faith but we both know riders will tell sponsors/fans what they want them to hear. What then is released to the press is a very different story more often than not.

I agree too! Statman says if we want to post on the Poole thread we have to be constructive!!
-
Based on PL performances you are right Shawn but I have to agree with Steve, without his enforced break he had this year I expect him to perform very strongly. I don't think you can compare across the leagues. It depends on who they are riding for, whether they like the track, riding position and how they fit in the team. Take Garrity as an example, IMO he has always out-performed in the EL compared with his scores in the PL.

Why would you expect a supporter of another team come on this thread and make constructive posts/comments. You just want a closed shop!
