I personally think Lindgren will get back to near his best and have good season in 2016. It is just a hunch I know, but I just feel this could happen and then Wolves could be a real threat. Everyone is tipping Poole but they have the same issues - if Andersen, and Holder to a lesser extent, do not return to their past form then I think they look a pretty ordinary team.

I am sure you must be able to get those armchairs down in Poole that help you up when you get out of them!!!

In my unbiased opinion, Coventry take more supporters to Swindon from meetings I have been to. Poole are the not the greatest with travelling support - it was always very poor at EOES.

I don't think you can argue with a lot of what Matt Ford says in the article. Other than even if you own the asset/rider you can't make the rider ride for you. Of course you will get the loan fees though.

As foamfence says, there is now way the current fan base will pay these kind of entrance fees. Equally, the sport will not attract new supporters at those prices with the current state of most stadiums/facilities/presentations. Top GP riders will not mean anything to new supporters. I think the promoters have a real dilemma on their hands and I would not like to be in their shoes going forward. I can quite understand why they are looking at promoting the sport in the cheapest way possible and hoping they get enough fans in.

Excellent post GRW, fully agree with you. At the other end of the spectrum I am a season ticket holder at a non-league football club. The football is usually not great and there are no superstar footballers but the club is well supported and it is the great atmosphere created at the club that makes me get my wallet out every year and buy a ST.

I doubt that would be agreed as that would leave the door open for Poole to sign the Japanese rider To Tal Disregard4rules at reserve!!

The fact that it can be moved to another location in 48 hours must be one of its best features. Great for getting round the local planning regulations.
