  1. How can they get away with that if their meeting is not an official one
  2. The days of plenty of Monarchs fans travelling to Ashfield have now gone the fourth bend is much quieter than it used to be for these matches
  3. Banger was around an 11 pt ave and then he broke his ankle and I think we signed Les Collins then let Mick Powell go when Paul Bentley came back
  4. This is the Jubilee Cup Final all over again that was never going to happen and so was this two league challenge never going to happen
  5. Fraser has had a ride round Ashfield last season maybe we didn't like what we saw or maybe the track did not suit him but it will be good to see him riding at Glasgow when Comets visit
  6. I did bump into him on a flight to Birmingham the other week
  7. Foord will not be at Poole in 2025
  8. That was the proposal as Ben Basso agreed to do just one league in the UK and then it was changed because a couple of clubs said they could not run 2H and 2A
  9. Patrick Rooney was the excellent producer of the film In the Red all of the social media was looked after by Robert McKenzie who now works for Celtic Football Club.
  10. Edinburgh stream their meetings but were complaining they had home crowds of under 500 for two matches so maybe streaming does effect the crowd levels
  11. The CL should be two home and away but most promotors want the number of home meetings kept low as it means they have less chance of losing money as they see every home meeting a s a loss maker so 10 home meetings rather than 20 meetings means less meetings to lose money. An interesting fact is that in the Berwick programme is shows their rider with the most points in a season is David Blackburn in the 1989 season with 575 points from 46 official meetings so a possible 23 home meetings.
