Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 14/5/2014
Tom Turner replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thank you for the useless response. I am currently in Essex on a business trip so that would be a little hard now wouldn't it? Anybody got a useful answer? -

If Davey could take his pick of clubs it would be Poole... He lives in Poole, his biggest sponsors are in Poole, his best performing track is Poole and he loves to ride here... Just sayin' -

Looking forward to seeing Bech on the Poole track, as he is clearly a rider with some talent! Although a Poole supporter, I do echo your sentiments about Davey Watt and whether he is 100% committed at Lakeside. No doubt a very capable rider at Poole who has pulled a maximum out of the bag time and again. If Kyle Newman can regain some of the confidence he was oozing before his spill with Dryml then I am sure he will do all that is required in the reserve berth. This will be the first time we see Ben Hopwood as part of the Poole 1-7 and it is debatable as to what effect he will have. The Poole heavy hitters are likely to remain near unbeaten as Holder finds mechanical form and our polish duo become stronger and stronger at home. Vaclav should score reasonably and will be determined to out do himself. I believe we will be looking at a 10pt + win for the Pirates with the most exciting racing coming from the reserve positions. -
That and the fact he can't ride.

I'd rather have Darcy over Holder but if neither are available we are in perhaps a spot of trouble. Could only think of bringing in KK, should he wish to ride for us. Fingers crossed for a healthy Darcy. -

Don't embarrass yourself... Look up "reigning champion". Can't believe some people hate Poole so much they would throw common sense out the window. Your entire post was nonsense. Also, setting your signature to reflect one posters opinion of your posts as being "sensible" isn't impressive, it just comes across as if you are desperate to reassure that you don't talk exclusive out your jacksie. -
No. I choose different names and designs for my profile every month, stops things getting stale. Liam Gallagher Fan pretends to have inside information and makes up stories about the sport that we all know is hogwash. I have absolutely no relation to Liam Gallagher Fan. I would appreciate it if you would stop associating me with him. It's most frustrating, and isn't the first time you've done it.

We're champions even when we aren't... -
Please don't associate me with them idiots. I take on different personas for entertainment purposes, I'm not a weird little boy who makes up stories from people on the inside. Get it right!

What you talking bout Pugwash? Are you for real?

Should be an easy win for the Pirates -
No, he wouldn't.

Speedway must be stressful because he hasn't aged very well. Ben Hopwood - Aged 23 ***Yet another overlarge image removed - as before, use links***

"We've bought in THJ to replace Ward, as they are basically on par"
-
What would you say to Josh and Vaclav? And which one do you propose we replace Ward with? What a stupid suggestion all round.
-
Why would we swap out Vaclav or Josh? They are doing a fine job and stand only to get better.
-
Look's like Lee Smart has deleted his tweets
-
If this was the case, why has nobody done anything about it? Do you think there is a magical Poole protection scheme in place?
-
They aren't spineless, there is nothing for them to kick off about. Why do you think Matt Ford holds some almighty power? Stop being jealous, it's not pretty on a girl.

Nki Is Entitled To Air His Opinions Too
Tom Turner replied to The Pedaler's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
So pretty much everything I've been saying since square one but rejected consistently by BSF posters who live in a dream world. NKI has got it spot on. Rubbish tracks and diluting the sport is NOT the way forward. A comprehensive online marketing campaign first of all and then investing the money generated from the extra attendances a decent online marketing campaign will bring to improve track conditions. It's blooming obvious. And let's be realistic, an online campaign is the only campaign British Speedway can afford. It will bring in far better results than a roundabout advert (like my local club seems to think is a good idea). You'd be surprised how a little can go such a long way. Maybe promoters will step up and listen now? Not a chance!
