True they do pick up a lot of dirt following the other 3 riders round 5 times a night You missed the "Nowt" off the end of your name Ooops sorry showing my age their, Colin Cook was a great little rider who rode for Ipswich, Leicester & Exeter between 1978 & 1992 .... I suppose the real question is "who the hell is Craig Cook"

Never seen such a bunch of ungrateful, miserable buggers in all my life .... I would close it back down again right ow if I read half of whats on here .... seems some deserved those 28 years without a track Take a leaf out of the Cradley fans book, not got a track, ride in the 3rd division and support the team in there thousands. All this from guys who were used to following the Penhalls, Gundersens, Hancocks, Hamills & Jan O Pedersens of this sport. Leicester "fans" my arse -
I think Nicolai & Tyron should be the definate movers, both should be better than they are at present but some riders just cannot take the next step. As for Ryan Fisher I would love him at Wolves, a good hard rider who cares little for reputations and could easily be a 6.50 rider in the Elite. IF we could move Nicolai & Tyron and replace them with Fisher and Kennett that would do for me

Didnt Sam once not show for a drug test after a meeting once, Ronnie Correy once turned up and failed a breath test at the fours finals at the EOES, we have forgiven our own before. Yes he did wrong & for that very reason he will not do anything again. You have a hard heart Jonesy

Trouble is as long as there are mugs who will pay it thats what they will keep charging. As my Dad always said "A fool & his money are soon parted" The Hotel/BB owners want shooting, how they can look at themselves in the mirror I will never know. -

No he is taking advantage of the big screens to sing a John Travolta-ish "Hopelessly Devoted To You"on the centre field at a picture of MJJ ... not a dry eye in the house ... not that man love is my bag of course but each to there own :-) There is even a rumour he is going to pop the question ... but last time he did that Batch banned him from his Twitter & Facebook accounts! Now when I was a lad it was the "girls" who drooled over the pretty boys like Penhall etc, now its the boys .. time are a changing :-) -
Good post Gavan and 98% spot on, but I think Tai will step up over the next 2/3 seasons. He has had a lot to put up with which has indeed levelled him out, people need to remember that its not just when his Father died but the months leading up to it that takes its toll. I was 24 when my Dad died from lung cancer at the age of 49, I can tell you it takes some getting over and Tai was even younger than I was. Add to that he is trying to make his mark on a sport whereas I was just a normal Joe going to work etc and it devestated me for many years. He is a strong man and time is a healer but I do not believe he is fully over it yet, but he will be trying to do it for his Dad & that could be the biggest motivator of all for him :-)

Oh so you did not have to win at such or simular places in those times then lol ... now your just being silly .... if your good enough you can ride ANYTHING .... twist and go speedway is a turn off, I watch he Swedish/Danish & Polish leagues every week & you get the same standard of racing week in week out. In fact I would say there are many many more drawn out races in those due to the big horsepower boys pulling away than in the Elite. Thrilling speedway indeed. About as often as I go to Costa Mesa lol

Yep Hans Nielsen of Wolverhampton, Birmingham & Oxford really struggled thoughout his career because of the "thinking mans tracks" .... as did Ole Olsen who won 2 of his 3 World Titles whilst riding for Wolves. Hancock, Hamill & Ermolenko could all have done better as well if they had not been bought up on the tiny tracks in the USA lol

I will have some of what your on .... Wuffy not a "good" rider your having a laugh, he is still young and struggles for consistancy a bit but was the star turn at the WTC race off. He has had a lot o put up with over the last couple of years but WILL get there for sure. Cook is a decent rider but one swallow does not a summer make .... getting a little carried away here methinks lol As for being better than Bomber, come back when he has achieved half what Bomber has and I might take you seriously ;-) He went for his brain scan last week ... nothing found ;-)
