Thanks for the race card. I have printed a few off for our B. B. Q. tonight. Yes we at OXFORD have one on every G. P. RACE NIGHT. It is held at a village called KIDLINTON at GREEN ROAD SOCIAL CLUB which is approx 5 miles from OX. All proceds go to SAVE OXFORD SPEEDWAY !!!. REGARDS NORMAN ( NOBBY ) OXFORD

G'DAY" BIG FAT DAVE" Regarding the programmes. Myself (a pom ) and 8 Aussies from TOWNSVILLE, the PILCHERS , the BROWNING'S & KURT PALMER .Arrived at the stadium at 19*15 bought our' progs' and enterd the stand to our seats. LATER during the meeting went and " waterd our horses " and there was a " prog " seller by the toilet (dunny) ? and was still there at the end, ALL THE BEST FOR THE REST OF YOUR TRAVEL'S NAMRON OXFORD

Gordon passed away a few years back. After spending the latter years of his life in a North Oxford Nursing Home. I know this as fact , as i was a taxi driver at the time and often took his wife from their home in Cowley to visit him. The distinctive riding style he had when he rode for Oxford in the late 50's and early 60's still remain in my memory. Regards Norman Hall (Nobby)

The problem is i wish to purchase three Jason Crump baseball caps as shown on the G. P .web site . And send them to my friend & family Kieth Pilcher, who live in Townsville Australia. But i have tried various ways with no luck,such as:- The G. P. Website and when you click on OFFICIAL GP MERCHANDISE its no go. I spoke to Jason the other week when he was at Oxford incase he had any on his van . NO LUCK. I have tried Jason's web site and they only have his blue variety Polish sponsors!. Does anyone know the whereabouts of Pete Bacon, who had connections with Oxford in the early 70's. I think he used to spanner for Mick Fletcher.
