Mediocrity here to say I'm afraid both at foxhall and British speedway in general. The office rug at the BSPA offices must be like a mound now, with everything the promoters have swept under it over the year's.
As I stated in this thread earlier. It's the same old crap recycled into a new year. Nothing changes and Rome will continue to burn. Do the promoters honestly think they can tinker and get away with it. Radical changes is the only way ahead. Even if means all teams following a weaker formula to rebuild the sport from the bottom up. I guarantee the same discussions will be held on this website in a year's time regarding the poor state of British speedway.

It's a fair bet to say that there will be little or no change with the rules or regs. The promoters will continue to jolly while Rome burns. I do feel that most arguments on this website are academic as I am afraid chaps that little or nothing will change.
How about unknown Danes or Swedes. Other teams seem to do well with this line of approach. All we are talking about is recycling the same old faces.Does anyone think Risager is a step forward?
One big league,22 teams,6 man teams,no guests, maximum 2 foreign riders including commonwealth.42 league fixtures.one race night.32 point limit. £10 maximum admission. £1.00 Programme no doubling up.I'll live in fantasy land cos isn't it where most promoters live?
Can't imagine more than one or two promoters are making any money given the current state of British speed way. Eastbourne have learnt a very cold lesson.perhaps that's the way forward for all teams.
What's the betting premier league will be about 12 teams if Berwick or Scunthorpe stay in. And the elite will be 8 teams if they can con them into all into staying in. Doubling up and FTR to stay.
I often notice in the speedway star that promoters say we'll be in this league or that league. How do they know if we don't know the set up yet.or do they know something we don't?
