No but I have met him and found him a very decent chap who has always put England first (unusual nowadays) and I think he is on an absolute bargain average but only for a short while.

I know you guys are struggling at the bottom end but you could do a lot worse than Matej Kus who is on a stupidly low average of around 3.50

Don't rule out this season we are only one point of the play offs. But I understand your message, the real problem is the performances have been very underwhelming so far (we are lucky that a couple of home wins could easily have been losses then we really would have been in the smelly stuff this season) we do need to make inroads away from home, just wracking up home wins is not good enough. Forget Swindon which is damage limitation but it needs to start at KL on Monday.

I presume Kus is riding at KL on Monday as well, but me too will look a mug if Nick outscores Kus over the two meetings, but I very much doubt it (after all its hard to get less than zero)

He is guesting at Swindon so it would seem an audition because the average fits to replace Max Nick Clegg.

You may be right I also believe there are a crop of youngsters coming on fast but I can only compare Kus against current No 7s Etheridge Andersen K Sargeant Shanes? CLEGG Jeppersen Smith J Greaves You are also right it was Kus`s first decent night this season but he did beat Howarth, Garrity, Auty and Kurtz and he started with an average of 7.65 which he had because that what he was before the season.

When I suggested Kus it was for No 7 not in the main body of the team. Can you name a better No 7 in the premiership?

As there is a break in the fixtures and with Kennetts injury it would be a good time to have a freshen up of the team. Clearly the jump up is too far for Clegg (no complaint of effort though) how about looking at the June averages in the Championship to see if there are any "bargain" averages. Mr Team Manager here is your chance to shine.

Notice Kus got a 5-1 last night (clearly needs a good night to kick start his season) then gets injured, still a fan of Kus But as a team overall if you lot don't get bad luck with injuries this season you would get no luck at all.

Two big crowds this season both on a non working day. Three poor crowds on the fixed race nights. What more evidence do you need BSPA. I really fear for the Rockets

Nicholls has surprised me how well he has ridden this season (even when he misses the gate which is quite normal), he gives it his all every race. He should know it is very much appreciated.

You claim that I have a problem with Edward yet I mentioned praise for his performance on Monday and I say it again was delighted to see it and we damn well needed it. You claim I didn't make allowances for his injury yet he took a guest booking at Lakeside instead of resting his need to his team. You claim I only single out Kennett yet I have shown concern for Bombers performances prior to the Poole match and poor Clegg who needs to be dropped firstly for his own sake as much as for the teams. Then you infer with a dash of menace that I should visit the pits to face Edward and hid dad well are you their appointed spokesman? For what I know of them they will take it as constructive and will attempt to turn things around. I am happy to congratulate Eddie on tonights performance but to say his seasons performance of an average of 4.33 is just dandy is stretching it. Suddenly you defend Eddie for his current injury, well it hampered him at Swindon (didn't beat an opponent) 48 hours after he beat Morris twice, Ellis and Lawson at Lakeside. Oh and a great score 1 at Poole (didn't beat an opponent at Poole) after he got 11 at Sheffield in the British Semi Final. No I dont have a problem with Eddie and I also put on record what a great servant he has been over the years but this year he has been all over the place at Rye and I sincerely hope this is the start of a rich vein of form which the team sorely needs.

Two false starts did look harsh on KL but you conveniently forget that Rye were on a 5-1 when Anderson fell off and oh yes Lambert wins the re-run, whilst you do have a point try to keep it balanced.

Everybody saw how big the monday bank holiday crowd was against Somerset and it started at 3.00pm, so of course they are running today at, yes you guessed it 7.30pm to accommodate TV (for which they get pennies) You couldn't make it up. I hope the promotion survive this season then overthrow the idiots who "run" our sport.

Now I understand why we are stuck with Fixed Race nights so Grand Prix riders can grace us with their presence.
