  1. After going to speedway since 1970 another rule I didn't know about, is it me or is it speedway? If we can sneak through this one the playoffs are really on big time,
  2. Hopefully Rye House will get Rohan Tungate to replace KK
  3. Is this the same Robert Lambert who refused to ride for England some while ago Is this the same Robert Lambert who let down Rye House and other teams Is this the same Robert Lambert who has got history of not returning promptly from meetings abroad when others in the same meetings have done so And is this the same Robert Lambert who will never be forgotten by the Peterboro fans
  4. On balance I am with Chapman on this one (didn't think I would ever say that). Clearly the problems at KL was far deeper that the Poole match. The only thing the riders at the top have that is elite is their egos and al last a stand has been made THE SPORT IS BIGGER THAN ANY INDIVIDUAL, yes it will cause some more image issues but in the long run the sport will be stronger if it is not held to ransom by riders.
  5. What a silly statement, Leicester are 11 points behind us (they only have 10 all season) we have lost only once at home and that was down to Kennett our "No1" bottling heats 13 and 15. I do though feel that the play offs are just out our reach thanks to being completely stiched up by KL TWICE
  6. Take a bow Swindon, I thought you would really struggle this season but now you have every chance of winnig the whole dam thing
  7. Given all the sensitivity KL should have asked a local referee to visit the track and confirm near the start time that the track was unfit, in football ONLY the referee calls off the match. Anybody with an once of sense can smell what was happening last night, in fact it now explains why Huckenbeck was not on a flight to England, because the match was never going ahead.
  8. Even if the points are not awarded to Rye House after this complete joke tonight then if the match must be replayed then KL should be made to field the same team that was planned for tonight
  9. Apparently somebody at the stadium has spilt a can of coke, this constitutes a puddle so the rain off was justified after all.
  10. Complete farce AGAIN I urge Mr Jensen to refuse to re-arrange the meeting and if the BSPA quite rightly award us 4 points then fine, if not, well at least we will stop KL the opportunity of getting 3 points and then hope Swindon get the fourth play off place.
  11. It did rain yesterday in Cornwall so is the match off yet?
  12. We have already had one meeting cancelled at KL this season due to a 5 mile an hour wind (24 hours before the meeting) so no chance if there is a semi black cloud around Norwich on Wednesday.
  13. Interesting comments from Startline Sid who I have always found a sensible and balanced person. I missed the Kings Lynn situation but at Swindon he ran in two pathetic last places then decided to come from last to first whooping Nick Morris in the process, then produced another tailed off at the back race. Immediately we went to the pits where my friend was going to offer him a sizable cheque to score double figures away from home but he was packed up and gone and thats the captain, also Batchelor (guest not team member) was still having his photo taken with fans.
  14. Well said royal, no, I don't like the logo but I suspect Hackney, Crayford, Exeter, Canterbury, Wimbledon, Reading, Newport, Bristol, Boston, Norwich, Southampton, Weymouth etc etc fans would reluctantly change their logo to have their team racing again.
  15. 3.68 away average for a number 1 says it all and that's when hes available and not long tracking or what ever (oh and don't forget the great home rider bombed in heat 13 and 15 in the big boys races in our home defeat against Belle Vue). Sedgman won three heats AT Kings Lynn this year. How can this be a crap decision? Im fed up of having a team of "nice riders" who fold like a pack of cards away time and time again
  16. At Swindon it was so apparent that this team was simply not up to it away from home and fans would have shouted that every other team have made changes but not us, well we have and who knows it might just pay off, at least we tried to roll the dice, how about getting behind the team and if it doesn't work, moan then.
  17. Thumbs up for the BT camera view mainly from the start and quite low, never understood why Sky showed the bend action from about 100 feet up on the second bend, how many fans watch the racing from that position ...... exactly. Overall they made a meeting on a crap track very watchable.
  18. Kennett had to go, really tough on Perks though lets hope their is a plan to bring him back soonest. We just didn't have a true number 1 this season, look how Cook finished the match at Poole in Heats 13 & 15 so the only way this team can improve is to have an all round scorecard with a trump at Reserve (Robbo) and the changes albeit risky do have a chance to work. We were going nowhere, so at least the promoters have tried something. Back to Perks, many thanks for your efforts young ma, you have been THE bright light this season and hope you will be back soon.
  19. What ever the facts respect to Steve Jenson for putting his side forward instead of the normal promoters who just ignore their fans. Yes, the season is far from over but I have now come to belief that the playoffs are too far off for this team.
  20. Whether Kennett should or shouldnt have ridden at Belle Vue is up to interpretation of the stupid rules, but what is not up for interpretattion is the very late updating of the fans, I very nearly travelled to Manchester but I would have been miffed to arrive only to learn of his absence when the people in the know must have known for some while.
  21. Another collapse afer a battling performance, but this ones on Kennett, Our guest 2 their guest 15.
  22. Thanks for that Robbobee, it looks like Diane Abbott was on the calculator again.
  23. Is this right? our new team average is 38.07, if so then replacing Branford would give us 7.08 to play with thus allowing us a pretty decent Championship rider and push Robbo to reserve. That would change things significantly
  24. Despite me being a fan, clearly there is a problem with Branford this season and he is a passenger that we just cannot carry at present, can there not be a direct swap for Kasper Lukke. He would be at reserve where he would score a bundle especially at home.
  25. Average regarding points or average regarding psycho?
