Many thanks for your kind words. As I said earlier coming from the lower reaches of the Championship "or what ever they call it now" we have never locked horns with you guys and whilst you have had for Poole a very turbulent season, and even Mr Shovlar will admit probably not one of your finest sides, your sheer determination and stubbornness to makes the plays offs after we beat you by 51 points on aggregate "please allow me that little one" is a credit to your club, in life its easy to be successful when everything is going your way so when it doesn't, it should be acknowledged. Good luck in the playoffs I shall be watching enviously. -
So gutted about missing the playoffs. But I want to thank ALL the riders and officials for such a great run at the end of the season and if the core of you can stick together next year can be a very special year for Rye House. When the disappointment disapates please remember you we tremendous and as Rye House fans we have suffered many many barren years.

Congratulations to Poole on making the playoffs Gutted as I am, I will no doubt pontificate long and hard about what damage we might have done in the playoffs but the simple fact is we missed a number of chances to "put you away" and despite an incredibly tight road you never slipped up once and the final nail was winning at Somerset after taking the lead only in heat 15. I have said it before and I repeat Hans Andersen is amazing, if you are ever unfortunate to be in a trench hes the man you want right beside you. We look forward to seeing you next year. -

For all the conspiracy theorists, Robert Lambert did not ride in heat 15 after winning Heat 13 against Andersen & Kurtz (the riders that rode in heat 15) his replacement ran a poor last which allowed Poole to get the 4th and probably most important point of the season, yet he was suited and booted to ride in the second match against Rye House -

Well its Pooles to lose now, again they did what they had to do and I am sure that they will get the result they need at Somerset tomorrow, by hook or by crook. Whilst Lahtis score will catch the eye I thought Andersen was the match winner, his evening even included the required 3-3 in the last heat. Despite his waning abilities he is still Mr Reliable and a consummate professional and not for the first time put the Baby Turbo twins to shame. One day he will be a big lose to Poole speedway and British speedway as a whole. -

Whilst it probably benefits us, it just doesn't sit right with me and I for one hope lambert is in two matches or none, of course I want 4th but only on a level playing field and if you do better than us against the SAME team then good luck to you. Just like last night, whilst not effecting the overall result I just knew Bjerre would max after Mondays disgraceful performance (I don't mean low scores that can happen to anybody, but a Premiership No 1 rider doesn't have bikes on Monday) -

You impressed with your No 1 not having engines? Yes, Nicholls does not escape criticism for tonights non performance but he has only affected his own chances of the playoffs not Belle Vues. Respect to Cookie though, always does it against us and one of the first riders I would choose for my team. -

Im not being a sore loser, I made it clear we got what we deserved tonight. If Poole sneak 4th good luck to them, they never gave up a few weeks ago when everybody was laughing at them. the point I was making is, if we lose 4th please make it a level playing field and Bjerre turning up with useless equipment at Poole and Wolves and then do this tonight almost makes him a king maker. Ask Peterboro fans, when after a 9+ season he completely blew up in the playoffs and destroyed all their hard work that season. -

Whilst we didn't deserve anything tonight, Bjerre K should be ashamed of himself after the performances on Monday and tonight, it makes a mockery of all the hard work Rye House and Poole put in that one guy can just choose when he decides to turn up. -

I know Rye have struggled away so I will be happy with a 6 point defeat, then if we win out we should qualify on race points difference -

Belle Vue looks great but I already miss Peterboro, these are the only ones who get close to the old Hackney Wick. -

Is Brady Kurtz in the same meeting and is he also riding at Somerset on Friday? -

I am sorry Steve you haven't understood the issue, We want Chris to ride for us because he is a part of our team (and he want to as well) not because we are a win at allcosts club. To prove this point I believe Belle Vue missing Steve Worrall is a bigger loss that Chris for Rye House but I still would rather bother teams be at full strength tonight even if it lessens our chances of winning. Its not a dig but if Holder is missing your match at Somerset so he can get his best bikes abroad for an individual competition then I think the Poole fans are being short changed big time. -

Al last the semblance of a sensible decision. At least the best team will now make the playoffs and by accident, this may be the evening when Kings Lynn have loads of supporters all evening. -

All of these are big 'ifs' with Belle Vue away and Swindon home to come but even by the shabby standards of the top tier allowing Poole the chance of a win at Lynn but denying the Rockets the same chance would be disgusting. Spot on, surely the BSPA wont allow this farce to happen if only because their treasured BT contract due is to be decided shortly. What I don't understand is that if the "cut off" has been extended to the 6th Sept, why not ride on the 6th which is a Wednesday and the KL home night, after all the 1st leg of the playoffs are not due to be ridden to the 18th Sept. Clearly something fishy is going on and after Busters 28 July actions, giving Poole a playoff place would be a peace offering. -

Credit where credits due I thought you were taking the "10" count after our match at Poole but whilst you still are staggering on with close wins (Wolves were missing Masters and Riss M) and today (BV were missing Fricke and "Bjerre")you are like a dog clinging on to a trouser leg and although the way we are riding at home it should be a clear home win I for one are more than a little concerned you may at least nick a point. -

Rye House Home Poole - massive match although Rye are very hot at home at the moment Kings Lynn - home win Swindon - totally different situation than 4 weeks ago and will no doubt influence Swindon choice if Rye House do finish fourth but still hard to bet against Swindon anywhere Leicester - despite last night I Rye House lose this one we don't deserve 4th place Away Belle Vue - up to last night thought this was a long shot but now hope for at least a point Kings Lynn - away win Poole Home Belle Vue - dangerous match for Poole despite last two matches at home, Belle Vue for some reason are far harder away from Manchester Kings Lynn - home win Away Rye House - see above Kings Lynn - away win Somerset - toss a coin for this result could be anything Just to cloud the picture even more if Rye House beat Poole by 9 points on Monday both teams have the same race points. Simple really -

Back Rye House v Poole, Mr Shovlar I have to say I am more confident tonight than I am about Monday. I for one felt that you didn't ride as bad as 30-60 looked and I think with a fit again Brady Kurtz there are a number of reasons why Monday is very much a banana skin for Rye. The Rye fragile pairing is Harris (Rye is so not his type of track) and Barker although Wells and he whos name should not be mentioned to a Poole fan are absolutely flying, in the end I think you need to look at Robbo v Lahti for the final result. At the end I will be relieved to win by 7. -

When you said "cant be as bad" nobodys suggesting 60 - 30, after all, we are not riding at Poole again are we? I have always had a fair amount of respect for Somerset, and the club is still progressing albeit at its own pace, If I have got it wrong about a good night for the Rockets (boy have we taken some hammerings in the past here) I will happily return to the forum to eat a big slice of humble pie, but the form Nicholls, Wells KK and Robson are in at the moment and that doesn't include Bomber it should be an interesting night. -

Predicting results is always risky and if Somerset win fair play to them, but trust me you are meeting us at exactly the wrong time with most of our team in thier form of the season right now, if you had met us three weeks ago it would have been a home banker but I think you may be in for a surprise.
